Bob Cena was welcomed to the stage by ThyWWE CEO, Joey The Bastard, as the New Age continue their nationwide press tour to hype ThyWWE Oppression, which is scheduled to take place this Sunday. Bob walked on stage with his New Age t-shirt and navy jeans and his InterNational Championship slung over his shoulder as The Bastard offers his hand to Bob to shake, and he does...much to his chagrin. Bob takes a seat as Joey begins taking questions from the members of the press.
Joey The Bastard:
"Alright you idiots, lets make it quick, the champ's a busy man. You in the blue shirt!"
Reporter #1:
Hi there, Tony Weaver from Sky Sports, you are walking in to a much anticipated one on one affair with a man who holds a pinfall victory over you in the past, does that weigh on your mind at all as you prepare for your match with Robert Garrett?"
Bob Cena:
"Really? That's the best you could come up with? How about this, rather than looking at that match, why you don't look at the last fight, myself and Robert had together. His InterNational Championship reign lasted a mere two minutes. I left him laying in a heap in the middle of the ring, curled up like a bitch as I became a TWO time InterNational Champion. Rather than you ask that question, why don't you go find Robert Garrett and you ask him how it feels to be a millionaire? Because before I chose to sign a contract to fight him at Oppression, he was a measly little runt struggling to get by. Well let me tell you something, he's a millionaire for one night only, it's one and done deal because when I'm finished with him, there's no way he will dare step foot in my kingdom. He's a bitch, he's terrified, he doesn't want any of this...I can smell his pussy from here, and once he realises just why I am the best wrestler in the world, he will run with his tail tucked between his legs back off to Hollywood."
Reporter #2:
"Hi, Jonathon Coachman, Sportscentre, Mr Cena, I was involved in the wrestling industry for a long time, and I gotta say, you may be one of the biggest examples for a guy who turned his career around from comedy midcard to bonafide main eventer. Can you tell us just how you managed to better yourself through your career?"
Bob Cena:
"Well thank you first off, you know what I remember a long long time ago that my success in ThyWWE meant nothing. When I won the World Heavyweight Championship from Kurt Orton, I was on top of the world for all of 20 minutes. Kurt Orton spoke up, I was branded a paper champion, I was called a disgrace to the title, I was made to feel like I didnt deserve to hold gold. Quite honestly, the common perception of me was just another who liked to run his mouth, Well now...3 years later, I am the ThyWWE InterNational Champion, I am a ThyWWE Grand Slam Champion and I did it without changing a damn thing about myself. You know what that tells you? That tells you that the person you are looking at now makes his own rules, that I am more than just another wrestler who likes to talk, and that I will not change for anybody. I havent changed, ThyWWE changed and I, along with the New Age, am the one who brought that change. Holding this championship grants me power, it grants me control, and I will tear down this company and rebuild it in my image. I've been called a lot of things in my life; a jerk, arrogant, overrated....not of that matters anymore, because as of right now, each and every one of those people, have to call me champ."
Joey The Bastard:
"Alright last question, the champ is a busy man! You there with the big tits!"
Reporter #3:
"Hi there, Lucy May from FOX Sports, in recent weeks, it seems your relationship with the leader of the New Age, Joey The Bastard, has somewhat soured. Could you give us any insight into that? Do you and Joey have a solid relationship or are problems starting to surface?"
Joey The Bastard:
"What kind of fucking question is that to ask? Bob respects his leader and I respect Bob. Bob is a great 2nd in command and he knows that I would d-..."
Bob Cena:
"Joe...I think she was talking to me..."
Joey shoots a sideways glance at the InterNational Champion before motioning to him to continue.
Bob Cena:
"You know I've heard this question a lot recently, but here's the thing, for years I have heard the same old "Cena sucks!" chant. Now in the last few months, people wanna come out with a "Lets go Cena!" chant to battle with it, well you know what, it's too late for that! ThyWWE fans take me for granted! And it's true..."
Cena looks at Joey.
Bob Cena:
"I hate you. I fucking despise your guts, you're a piece of shit, you're a son of a bitch, well you know what....I'm a piece of shit too, and I can respect you. Myself and Joey The Bastard do not like each other at all, but we can respect talent and we give credit where credit is due. My problems recently have not been with Joey The Bastard, my problem is with Hollywood rejects trying to waltz in here and steal MY spotlight. Blade LaVigne has the ThyWWE Championship, but as far as I'm concerned, this, and only this title is all that matters in ThyWWE, and I will do whatever it takes. I will stoop to any low, I will scratch, claw, bite anybody or anything that stops me from holding the InterNational Championship, and that includes Kurt Orton."
Cena lifts his championship and engages in a staredown with the CEO of ThyWWE, Joey The Bastard before the two shake hands and pose with the InterNational Championship for a photo op with the press as the scene fades to black.
SCENE TWO
Scene opens up in the home of Bob Cena, and we see the InterNational Champion taking a break from training and media calls to spend time with his family. Nicole was in the kitchen doing the dishes, while Bob put their son, Liam to bed. Liam had just hit the 5 months mark and he was beginning to turn into a little bit of a handful to the happy couple of Bob Cena and Nicole. However, the bonus of being the InterNational Champion, added together with extra media dates, allowed Nicole to get herself a job teaching in an elementary school near their home, and also to hire a nanny to give the two a well needed break. Bob laid Liam to rest and just watched his son as he stared right back at him with that smile that he loved so much. Bob began to contemplate his career, which he always seemed to do when he looked into his son's mesmerising big blue eyes, a trait which helped Bob fall for Nicole. He began to think about how his passion, his first love, professional wrestling, was no longer a passion, it was a job, and just like every job Bob has ever had, he hated it. He hated waking up and going to work, he hated small talk with the people he worked with, he hated the long hours he would spend away from his family, but it was all worth it at the end of the month, when he would get that paycheck. That paycheck which allowed him to book holidays for his family, which put food on the table and clothes on their backs. Bob snapped out of his day dream and moved back to the kitchen and put his arms around Nicole, kissing her on the neck as he does so. When she mentions to him,
Nicole Moore:
"So Joey invited us over to his place for a few drinks tomorrow night before the Pay Per View as a team bonding session."
Bob groaned and felt disappointed upon hearing the news, he wanted to chill out for a while but instead of that, he would have to spend time with the New Age. Bob loved to work with the New Age, but he preferred to keep his personal life and his work life seperate, and it seemed with every passing week, those lives began to blend together.
Bob Cena:
"Do we have to go?"
Nicole Moore:
"Of course! Myself and Tri have been wanting to meet up for weeks now, plus you get to spend time with your friends."
Bob Cena:
"I'd rather spend time with you though."
Nicole Moore:
"You're not getting out of it that easily."
Bob rolled his eyes and headed back towards the living room as the scene once again faded to black.
SCENE THREE
We open back up in the New Age frat house, better known as Joey The Bastard's home. The night had been a bit of a drag, and Bob had grown tired of hearing the same thing over and over again, about how Joey would win the World title, and Bob would retain, and the New Age would rule the world, yada yada yada. It was tiresome to listen to. Bob sat back int he room and looked around at his "Family". His girlfriend, and soon to be fiance, spending time with his road crew and he began to accept it. He saw how happy Nicole was and began to feel it a little too. Bob always believed that if Nicole was happy, he was happy, and seeing her enjoying herself was infectious for Bob as he began to feel the same way too. When Triana called Bob and Joey over.
Triana:
"GROUP PROMO!!!"
Triana shouted in her tipsy state and Joey rushed to her side, as she fumbled with the camera, causing Bob to let out a chuckle. Triana asked Nicole to hold the camera while each member got into position. Joey said his piece, then Troy, then Triana, and then Joey gave Bob his own special introduction to invite him to speak.
Bob Cena:
"My name is Robert Garrett and I want to piss all over the New Age, the very same group of legends who built the foundation of the company that he represents. MY name is Robert Garrett and I want to piss off a group of people that I really shouldnt piss off. My name is Robert Garrett and I want to get my ass handed to me at Oppression. Good job Robert! You cashed in Money in the Bank, you stole the InterNational Championship, and then you got put right in your place. because the only way you can win this championship is by attacking the champ from behind. I'm standing next to Joey The Bastard, and I hate his fucking guts, but I can stand proudly by his side because Joey The Bastard isn't a complete and utter bitch like you Robert. Joey would rather punch me in the face and tell it like it is to my face, and not bitch incessently because he lost a match fair and square. Joey doesn't need to attack somebody from behind to defeat them and that is why I respect him. You know I can beat you at Oppression and I can walk away with my championship reign in tact, or I can beat you, pulvarise you, destroy you, physically dismantle you to the point where you will never even dare utter the name Bob Cena again. We are both charismatic, we are both extremely confident in our own abilities but Robert Garrett, you and I are two very different people. You walk red carpets in expensive suits, and you are more focused on your image, than your career. I dont walk red carpets, I wear tracksuits on a daily basis, and I dont give a damn how other people see me. The key difference however between the two of us, you will always be a flash in the pan. You will always a 2 minute champion, whereas I, I'm the best in the world and I have the track record to prove it. I dont need to walk red carpets in $800 suits to catch peoples attention, I just have to hold this championship high over my head and not even utter a word. This Sunday, you and I, will not be any more alike. Because I'm going to defeat you for MY InterNational Championship, and I'll do anything to make sure that happens. You know why? Because my name is Bob Cena, and I deserve this title, and I am keeping this title."
Triana, Troy and Joey pop wildly for Bob's promo as Joey finishes up the promo issuing a threat to Blade LaVigne and to the rest of ThyWWE as the scene fades to darkness.
Joey The Bastard:
"Alright you idiots, lets make it quick, the champ's a busy man. You in the blue shirt!"
