The scene opens up inside the Resch Center, Green Bay, WI. We are inside the locker room of Thy WWE’s World Champion, Blade LaVigne. LaVigne is seen standing up, shirtless and wrapping up his mid-section. The pain can be shown from his face as he pulls the wrapping tight around his waist. There is a knock on the door as Blade grabs his shirt and throws it on. Blade grabs his Thy WWE title and throws it onto his shoulder.

Who is it?
Blade walks towards the door and opens it to see his father and daughter standing there, they have their backstage passes around their necks as Blade's daughter Stacy jumps into her fathers arms for a hug.

Hi Son.
Blade hugs his daughter for a second and stands back up. Blade smiles at his father. Blade begins to speak.

Glad you guys got here safe. Should be a good show tonight.

Yeah, everything was fine. We are pretty excited for the show, Stacy has been talking about it all the way here.
The two begin to chuckle as Blade responds.

Blade's father nods as Blade hugs his daughter once again. His father and daughter turn around and walk off of view. Blade shuts the door and walks towards the leather couch that sits in the center of the room. Blade sits down and places the championship belt onto his lap. LaVigne looks into the camera and continues to speak.

Alright, time to focus.
I want to take this time to talk about a few things before I defend my World title later tonight against Bob Cena. Now, I've said it before, as champion, you have a huge target on your back and everyone and anyone are looking for their opportunity to take the title from you. As all of you witnessed last week, I defeated Triana and retained my belt. But then I was attacked by Kurt Orton. Who does Kurt Orton think he is?
The guy leaves this company back in October last year.
Five months and Orton is no where to be seen. Suddenly he returns and attacks me like the coward he is and always will be. I can't count the number of times I've beaten Kurt Orton. But that doesn't matter. All that matters is Kurt Orton needs to understand that he is not next in line. You don't leave these fans for five months and come back, expecting a championship shot.
Blade places his title into his hand and looks at it, places it back down on his knees and continues to speak.

That's not how it works.
But hey, maybe he was trying to make a name for himself...and have it actually mean something this time. Maybe that's why he attacked me. But just know something Orton, attacking me, it will not happen again. I promise you that. But, I do hope you plan on sticking around this time. These fans deserve better than that. They've seen it happen too many times before.

Now we have this week.
This week, in a desperate attempt to take the title away from me, Joey the Bastard has booked me against former World Champion and the current Inter-National Championship, Bob Cena. Now, that's great and all but Joey added himself as the special guest referee. Last week I took out Joey before my match with Triana. I put him through the announce table so he couldn't be a factor in my match. You see, some people may think that winning this match, in this situation, is damn near impossible.
Some people believe that this will be my last RAW as champion., that the New Age have finally found an "answer."
Blade stands back up and places the Thy WWE title back onto his shoulder. Blade looks into the camera and continues to speak.

I know what Bob Cena can do inside the ring. He's a great competitor.
He's been World champion before but I've always had his number when it came to our matches. From Oppression in 2014 to Ascension in 2015, I've proven that I am better than Bob Cena. Each time we've met inside the ring, he's been a great opponent, but I've always came out on top and that will not change come tonight.
Everything happens for a reason.
Joey the Bastard can be referee all he wants but I will not lose tonight. I will overcome everything New Age throws at me. I will do whatever it takes to win. And I will walk out of RAW 156 as Thy WWE Champion...and Bob Cena, Joey The Bastard..
