The scene opens up inside a beautifully green public park on a gorgeous sunny afternoon. We see Steve Blackman doing some martial arts training, swiping at some bushes with a wooden sword. His strikes are swift, and precise. The power behind these strikes would amaze any bystander who had never known "The Lethal Weapon", or what he represents. Blackman does one final swipe with the sword that takes out the top half of the bush then places the wooden sword on his shoulder and turns to the camera to speak.
"Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman:
There are many things that a man or woman do not know about them self. One must look inward to discover their own strengths and weaknesses. You see, a true warrior does not need to be told by others what they did right, or what mistakes they had made during a battle. A warrior looks inside them self and finds a sense of self awareness, and self worth. I am a man who his at peace with himself. I have trained for many years in several different styles of martial arts. I have found inner-peace. Whether I stand victorious after a battle, or I lay on my back, it doesn't matter. Because, the path of warrior is forged by one thing, and one thing only, and that is experience. I have trained in some of the most prestigious dojos on the planet, and I have learned from some of the best martial arts Masters known to man. That right there - with out any shadow of a doubt - is what is known as experience.
"The Lethal Weapon" takes the sword from his shoulder and wipes away some leaves and dirt from the blade.
"Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman:
One who practices kung fu must learn to respect them self, and to respect the weapons that you will use in battle. The weapon must be treated as an extension of the user. This sword - this sword is an extension of my arm. It is an extension of my being, and if it gets broken, part of me goes with it. Anything could be used as a weapon. I could kill a man with a piece of paper if I had to, and I can kill a man with my most deadly weapons of all...
Steve Blackman holds his fists up to the camera.
"Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman:
These...
Then Steve Blackman points down to his feet.
"Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman:
And these. A warrior's most trusted weapon is his own body. My hands, my arms, my legs, my feet. Even my head. Because in thy WWE, every battle must be looked at as your last. It's the law of the jungle that you either fight for your life, or you never go in to battle again. The reason why I am undefeated in Thy WWE is because I go into any battle with a fight or die attitude. And I expect my opponents to do the same. Now, one must be careful of becoming over-confident, because adversaries can be unpredictable at times. But, my opponent this week, has put me in to a over-confident state of mind. Seth Rollins has arrived in Thy WWE and it is my duty to find out if he belongs here. Seth Rollins is an amazing athlete, but there's only so far a few flips and bounces can carry you until somebody shoots you down with a good hard kick to the chops. Now, in an alternate world, Seth Rollins would no doubt become a World Champion, but not in this world. This is Thy WWE. This is where the best fighters on the planet go to show why they are the best, and Seth Rollins isn't even in the bottom division. Seth Rollins is standing outside in the rain, peering through the window, and wishing somebody would open the door and let him in. But, you can't just expect somebody to open the door for nothing. There's a password, Mr. Rollins. Do you know what that password is?
Steve Blackman points the sword at the camera, and speaks with a stern manner. The way that a teacher might speak to one of his students who has acted up in class.
"Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman:
I'll tell you what that password is, Mr. Rollins. That password is... one... two... three. Because the only way that you'll even stand a chance at being a success in Thy WWE is by defeating me. Every other so-called warrior that they've put against me have fallen, and they've never been seen in Thy WWE since. One of them was even a Champion, and I overcame his challenge in my first fight. So, tell me, Seth Rollins. What makes you think that you deserve to come to Thy WWE, and fight inside that squared circle where the great warriors of the past have shed their blood, sweat, and tears to ensure that YOU even received this once in a life time opportunity? And, spare me the, "I'm the best" garbage, because that couldn't be father from the truth, and you know it. You are nothing, Seth Rollins. You are a worm stepping in to battle with a dragon, and you're about to get burnt. Because, it's party time, Mr. Rollins.
What's the password?
Steve Blackman turns away to continue his training as he attacks a tree trunk now with his bare hands and feet. The scene fades out as the camera pans across the park and up in to the bright blue sky.
