KURT ORTON VS. TROY MOTOR
FIRST BLOOD
I'd made a dumbass mistake. I should've just tried to bust him open while he was down, but no, I had to try to put him through a table. But Kurt moved, the slimy bastard, and I don't know how I can think clearly amidst the pain that's fucking me over right now.
The crowd lets out a shocked "ooooh!", and I stand just in time to see that he's wrapped a chair in barbed wire.
Shit.
And now Kurt is dragging me into the ring, and setting me up to drive him into the barbed wire.
I felt this sudden rush of adrenaline, a fire lighting up inside of me and I flip back, wrapping my arm around his neck and falling back, driving his head into the barbed wire.
And I can feel the blood dripping down my arm, so I unwrap my arm from around his neck and fall back onto the mat.
****
"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages..... The time has come."
Troy has his arms spread out in the air and he has a smug grin on his face. You just want to punch him out.
"I'm hurting, every inch of me is in pain but goddammit, I've never felt better. I slept last night. I actually had a good nights sleep last night. I actually found myself waking up a happy person, can you believe that? Granted, it took me about 5 minutes to get out of bed at my snails pace, but I was mentally happy. Because I did it, dammit, I overcame the odds."
Troy's smirk falters for just a second, but it's back, and now it's almost predatory.
"Everyone said I couldn't. Oh no, little Troy Motor, the petulant little child with the mommy and daddy issues, he couldn't defeat a hall of famer, could he? He couldn't take the victory, he couldn't survive the Cell. Well, I wouldn't say I survived...."
Troy laughs, and it's almost unhinged. Maybe something in Troy hadn't survived, and maybe that part was his mind.
"I'd like to say maybe I've achieved some sort of inner peace now that I've gotten sweet revenge, but that's just not true. I want to go higher, dammit. I want to reach heights I never dreamed even I could, and last night at WrestleMania, I proved to myself, and the world that maybe I have a chance. Maybe, just maybe I can succeed. And now that brings me to Kurt Orton...."
Troy sits down on a chair, and sighs.
"Kurt, no matter the things I say, I'm a fan of professional wrestling. More than any woman, it's the love of my life. It's all I truly care about, for better or for worse. And as a fan of this business, I can say that I was glued to the screen during your match with Blade. Despite my feelings against you both, I found myself actually feeling proud of you, man. For those few moments, you were on top of the world. It would've been the greatest success story; but Blade was smarter last night. I gotta hand it to him, he was ruthless. So now, here we are Kurt. Tonight it's Kurt Orton vs. Troy Motor 2; but this time we got ourselves a straight wrestling match, not a first blood. No barbed wire wrapped steel chairs this time, Kurt my boy; just our fists. Believe me, I'm on top of the world right now, and there is no stopping Troy Motor. Because, Kurt..... that's how I roll."
