Sunday at Ascension, I achieved my desired goal and did something I have waited too long to earn, eliminating 39 other men to win this contest and advance to the main event at Wrestlemania 5.
Everyone sees me now as a marked man on a quest to regain glory and to be honest... I like being targeted, I like having the roster clawing and breathing at my neck just craving for my spot, it gives me purpose and a new goal as to remain the number one person on the roster who claims the value and purpose to become best.
I've always been told to get respect is to earn respect and in due time there will be certain days where I can walk through the hallways of each arena I go to and get my hands shook by the men & women who give their all for this company.
But as that dream will soon be put to the test, there is another test I must pass and that's putting down a insubordinate bug with no respect for my credentials. This foe will be put down in order to continue my journey until I am the best!

After a long yet grueling night of pain and suffering, for the first time in a long time we would see Kurt in his locker room smiling after his victory and it was a big one most definitely.
Still with the huge grin on his face, he begins to take off his boots and pack up for the next trip while Burris walks in the room, he shakes Kurt's hand and congratulates him on the victory.
{Interviewer} Burris Troy
Ladies & Gentlemen, welcome to the Thy WWE Ascension Post-show. Tonight we saw Blade Lavigne successfully defend and retain his world championship against a remorseless yet cunning opponent in Bob Cena while Austin Starr went back into battle with the former Raw GM Christian Knight.
But the moment that captured the world by storm was when my guest standing next to me won his first rumble by entering at the number four and outlasting 36 other men to win the whole match! Ladies & gentlemen my guest at this time is none other than "The Prodigy" Kurt Orton!

WOOO HOOO! The rush, the feeling you get after winning a big match just like that Burris... It just gets you pumped and ready to roar into another big fight field and soon the time comes for more fighting.
In life, I was always taught that everything was just a big black hole of never ending dissapointment when your a man of less value... Growing up it be came clearer that you have to smash through some barriers to make an impact around here... Almost years it took me to make a definite change for my life to be complete.
Orton looks around the room and notices some other pictures from his past wins that make him look happier than usual, he smirks and reveals from under the bench a brand new photo to hang up on his wall. With this new addition, another tear begins to fall from his eye while he tries to speak.
Tonight was a just a night where I wanted it more then the others ever thought, there might be those who think I cheated or others who thought I had an accomplice adding me in this time of need but however... I saw that I had a legacy to maintain and by tapping into my roots, this night made me get a reality check that said get back into gear and whoop some ass! I am your 2015 Ascension Rumble Winner & come Wrestlemania I will be your Heavyweight Champion once again and this week when I take down Triana... She will be the first victim back on the Road to glory! Believe that!
Orton smirks again before patting Burris on the shoulder, he begins to finish packing his back while Burris shakes his hand once more and congratulates him before ending the interview.
Looking up at his wedding photo on the far end of the room, he kneels below it and begins saying a prayer.
Heavenly father, I thank you for blessing me with this newfound aggression to become the best, the realization has made me come one with my fans, my family and my own self.
I call upon you this evening to continue your blessings upon all those who have given me this opportunity and even those who have made me who I am today, I thank you for the time you have made for me. Amen.
Orton stands up and leaves his locker room with his bags intact, he looks around and out of sportsmanship begins to shake the hands of those who were eliminated and in return they pat him on the back and congratulate him on the victory.
The scene ends with Kurt putting his bags in his car and soon driving off into the night sky as the bumper on his car reads "Mission Accomplished".
