Stamp of Approval
After the events that transpired involving Kurt Angle and Dolph Ziggler, we find the once young, cocky and brash superstar with a more modest and humble identity. Afterwards, the WWE Champion himself, the Undertaker had a few harsh words for both Kurt Angle and Dolph Ziggler claiming that Kurt Angle was a coward and making up excuses for not showing up for his match with him and claimed that Dolph Ziggler was only a mere shadow of what Kurt Angle is today and that he would just be a pushover. Despite his awkward moment amongst the audience, Dolph Ziggler still has confidence in his abilities and believes in his heart and soul that he will defeat the Undertaker. This belief of course, like the Undertaker said, was assisted by Kurt Angle's belief in Dolph Ziggler's abilities, but nonetheless, Dolph's belief still linger around inside him like an inferno, a feeling that couldn't be brought up primarily by someone else's assistance. Backstage, after the Undertaker's words still buzz around the minds of the viewers like a swarm of angry hornets, Dolph Ziggler can be found backstage walking around minding his own business trying to hold a friendly conversation with some of the wrestlers backstage. As he walks by, he notices a pattern from the people he walks by. As he looks someone in the eye, the other person quickly looks away from his innocent glance and continues on to their desired destination. Whenever he directly approaches the person, he or she power walks to their desired destination wanting nothing to do with Dolph at all. This is done by people that the majority of the viewers either don't know or don't care about. Even both. However, this cycle of awkward and inconsiderate diversions is stopped by people of an identity that most, if not all the viewers know or care about. With the World Heavyweight Championship grasped tightly around his left shoulder, Dolph Ziggler is unaware of the verbal absue and shame that lies shortly ahead. As he turns a corner, the camera following him stops right when the person would have to turn the corner so the viewers couldn't see what happens next right away. A crash is heard, a sizzling sound can be heard right around the corner where Ziggler was heading and a loud shriek can be heard. The cameraman quickly turns the corner to find a disastrous scene. A puddle of dark brown liquid covers Ziggler from head to toe. The World Heavyweight Championship, previously and proudly displayed on Dolph's shoulder now finds itself tainted in the mysterious substance. On Dolph's left, we find one of the WWE Diva's on her back writhing in pain. That diva happens to be Maryse. From what the WWE Universe has figured out form Maryse is that you never want to tick her off and Ziggler did just that in a degree in which no one has ever done before. Dolph Ziggler, who has now recovered form his ordeal, quickly realizes his mistake and scrambles across the mysterious fluid nearly slipping and falling to aid Maryse. Dolph Ziggler grabs one of Maryse's arms and pulls her up to her feet. Her clothes and hair are drenched in the fluid as he grits her teeth in sheer anger at Dolph's clumsiness. AsDolph Ziggler bends over to pick up his title, a cup can be spotted right at Maryse's feet that spell the words"Starbucks" on it. The viewers can now draw conclusions that the liquid was coffee. Dolph Ziggler, completely embarassed tries to come up with words to say quick enough to express his remorse for his actions, but Maryse cuts him off with a few words of her own.
::Maryse::
"Mon café ! Vous hybride ! Comment défi vous ! Est-toi aveugle ou quelque chose ? Regardez mes cheveux magnifiques ! Ruiné ! Grâce à votre maladresse ! L'avez-vous su m'avez-vous pris deux heures pour obtenir à mes cheveux de cette façon ? VOUS ? ! ! ? Approchez-jamais JAMAIS moi encore, vous infidèle ! "
Although Dolph Ziggler couldn't understand her, he can draw his conclusions of Maryse's angers towards the accident when he pulls he right hand back and quickly extends across Dolph's face. She then huffs away towards his direction, not giving him any mind. Dolph Ziggler tries to recover from the ordeal and when he tries to walk away and preserve at least a little bit more dignity, but before he gets a chance, two figures stand on either side of Ziggler denying access of him tog o anywhere. Since Dolph Ziggler is cringing and the cameras want to depict Ziggler's shame, only the figure's legs are shown, but as Dolph stands up and the camera follows his body movement, the figures identities are revealed as Carlito and Jack Swagger, glaring at him with scorn. When Dolph notices them, he nervously looks from behind and in front of him noticing and realizing that the two are not pleased with him. From what we've seen in the past from both these men and from Dolph's past behavior, it is obvious that the two aren't happy with Kurt's decision in choosing him as the new world Heavyweight Champion and that they feel that in a way, Dolph betrayed them by moving up the ranks. Carlito, with an apple in his hand, is the first to confirm this when he speaks to Ziggler.
::Carlito::
"Well, well, well. If it isn't Kurt Angle's golden boy."
Carlito, without taking his eyes of of Dolph, takes a bite out of his apple, swishes the pieces around in his mouth and thrusts forwards if he is about to spit the apple chunks on Dolph's face, but hesitates at the last second. He then swallows the pieces and smiles slightly at Dolph.
::Carlito::
"You see, Ziggles. What I don't get is that of all people to get that World Heavyweight Championship of yours, why'd he choose you? I mean, look at you. Your acting like some clumsy Chess Team captain, you made money of this business wearing skirts and parading around in pom poms and to top it all off, you've failed won win both the United States and the Intercontinental Championship when I've won 'em both on my first try."
Carlito takes another bite of his apple, again, having no intention to spit it on Dolph's face. Jack Swagger, who has been inaudible up to this point, says his two cents in two with, of course, his lisp which some of his peers find humorous.
::Jack Swagger::
"And look at me. I'm a two time All-American American, a former ECW Champion AND most importantly, a World Heavyweight Champion which I EARNED. I don't need to be handed down any titles, but I'd figure since Kurt and I are so alike, he'd want me to be his chosen one and not some pompus, half wit, walking floral show like yourself."
::Carlito::
"You see. Like me and Swagger over here, we're pretty pissed off at you. Why? Because to sum it all up, finally, someone who agrees that the young guns like us deserve some spotlight and they waste the opportunity on someone like you. You can't even see where you're going without someoen lashing out on you and you think you can beat the Undertaker? Gimme a break."
Carlito takes a bite of his apple again and looks away as if he was ready to leave, but then quickly turns around and fires the saliva drenched fruit bits into Ziggler's face. Dolph Ziggler, tempoarily blinded, clutches his face, trying to protect it. As Jack Swagger and Carlito walk away laughing about what just happened, the cameras how a final shot of Dolph Ziggler, absolutely mortified as the show goes to a commercial break.
