Blessed is the man, indeed,
Who in this life can find;
A purpose that can fill his days,
And goals to fill his mind!
The world is filled with little men
Content with where they are;
Not knowing joys success can bring,
No will to go that far!
Yet, in this world there is a need,
For men to lead the rest
To rise above the "average" life,
By giving of their best!
Would you be one, who dares to try,
When challenged by the task;
To rise to heights you've never seen,
Or is that too much to ask?
This is your day--a world to win
Great purpose to achieve;
Accept the challenge of your goals
And in yourself, believe!
You will be proud of what you've done,
When at the close of day;
You look back on your battles won,
Content, you came this way!
The Challenge, Dr, Heartsil Wilson

::Prologue::
A man's true worth is not how many times he wins or loses, but by how he can cope with defeat. No man knows that more in the WWE than Kurt Angle. But the application of that principle of his own recent shortcomings may be a tough pill to swallow for Kurt Angle. He has lost two matches in a row to the Rock and Maven. The pride of the World Heavyweight Champion may be a tough barrier to humble himself and accept defeat. Even worse is not the past, but what lies ahead. Not only must he defend his World Heavyweight Championship against five other men, but he has to face the greatest challenge of his life. The Phenom and WWE Champion, the Undertaker who has established himself as WWE's current greatest force. He has defeated the likes of the Miz and hall of famers Stone Cold Steve Austin and "the Immortal" Hulk Hogan. Doubt has inevitably seeped into the mind of Kurt Angle as he prepares to face one of WWE's most formidable forces in WWE's annual draft, where ANY superstar can be traded to the other brand. With all these shortcomings, speculation of defeat from not only Angle himself, but his peers, how can Kurt Angle rise above the challenge, clear all doubts from his mind and catapult himself into a good running start for the upcoming Pay Per View, the Elimination Chamber, a match win which he has NEVER won and consists of the likes of John Cena and the Rock, two of WWE's most recognizable and successful athletes of all time? How will Kurt Angle survive his future endeavors as World Heavyweight Champion or even as a man, if he cannot rise above the constant challenges that are thrown in front of him one after another? Can Kurt Angle cope with all the newcomers that Smackdown will inevitably have that inevitably want their chance at fame and fortune at the expense of Kurt Angle? Only time will tell..............

Adopted Sorrows: PART I
Finally. That one word most simplistically sums up the attitude that WWE fans have about this very moment. Both young and old have been waiting for quite possibly be WWE's most hyped up non-PPV event in history. With nearly two months of speculation, the WWE Draft has returned. For three hours, not only will WWE fans have the opportunity to witness some of their favorite superstars from both brands compete against each other, but the battlegrounds for some of their favorite WWE superstars will change as they some may willingly or reluctantly be drafted to the other brand, champions included. Some see this as an opportunity that shall favor in their desires such as young superstars heading to Smackdown, which favors the development of younger, uprising talent with fiery yet brittle potential for the molding into the shape of greatness and prestige, to establish themselves as a household name that shall thrive until the end of time among the Earth. Others see this as a letdown such as if a superstar on his or her way to fame have it all taken away when they are forced to transfer to the other brand putting their rise to the top on hold where they must start all over again as the bottom of the ladder. Sometimes it's neutral where some WWE superstars that no one really sees as a joy to see or even a liability go to another brand. These changes are not done by choice. They're completely random and no one has any control of their fate for those three hours. The likelihood of plans out on hold, a rekindled spirit, crushed dreams and future success is eminent. No one knows how it will pan out, but everyone, especially the WWE Universe can't wait to find out as they in a few short moments, they are about to witness the annual, life changing event that is the WWE Draft!
--------------------------------------------------------
Time:
5 Seconds Before Showtime, March 26, 2010
Location:
Inside the homes of the WWE Universe speculating this very moment
--------------------------------------------------------
5........
The fans at home scan through their untidy beds, searching for their television remote, aka, the gateway that ensures their thirst for excitement to be quenched by this big event. Turkey, Japan, Italy, Greece and many other countries express this haste.
4........
Success! The gateway has been recovered! The fans about to watch at home quickly press the power button to turn on their respective televisions, aka, the digital theater that will hold this classic event for all the world to see. Whether it's a 12 inch or a 52 inch plasma screen, they don't care. One thing that the WWE Universe knows is that when you're watching WWE programming, beggars can't be choosers.
3........
The loading screen for their television screens pops up. Irritation and impatience grow inside the hearts of the WWE Universe as they wait for their TV's to turn on so they can watch the Draft. This impatience is expressed in different degrees by the WWE Universe, but the one thing they have in mind is for their television screens to turn on.
2........
Now that their televisions are on, the viewers quickly press different buttons from what the next viewer would push, but the location, the channel they are attempting to reach is the same. The USA Network, aka, the holding ground where the speculation will be viewed from. Satisfaction will be inevitably served to the viewers who anxiously wait for the Draft as each second is like a millennium.
1........
When the viewers finally get to the USA Network channel, most who made it before the show see the last few seconds of a rerun House episode where the rolling credits showing the producers and actors they can care less about. Once it ends, the viewers excitement is out to rest at the sound of eleven words that signal the beginning of WWE programming each and every week..........
Yes sir, we promised you a great main event here tonight.........
Those eleven words have stood the test of time as from when they were first uttered by the announcer giving commentary to the match between Ernest Roeber and August Faust for the Greco-Roman heavyweight championship in Madison Square Garden, to over a century later in the present days of the WWE. Following that timeless, classic promise follows many other classic catchphrases and mini clips showing past WWE legends, current WWE superstars and future talent potential of making a name for themselves which are more recognizable to the modern wrestling fan base such as Stone Cold Steve Austin's "Gimme A Hell Yeah!", Ted Dibiase's "Everyone has a price", Shawn Michaels' classic leap from the ladder against Razor Ramon in the first ladder match, Undertaker's "Rest In Peace", Vince McMahon's "You're Fired", The Rock's "If Ya Smell...." among other catchphrases that have put professional wrestling on the top of the mountain amongst the world's top sports and forms of entertainment despite it's recent flamboyant turn. The intro finally ends with a mini clip of John Cena holding the World Heavyweight Championship over his head amongst the crowd of fans, from Massachusetts the night he won it from Chris Jericho at Survivor Series, and Jim Ross saying, "The world is watching." Those words could not be more ironic as those words hold evident to what is going on around the world at that moment. Hundreds of fans at the edge of their couches ready to be entertained at a global scale. The modern day gladiator spectacle that is the WWE, begins.............
--------------------------------------------------------
Time: The beginning of the show, March 26, 2010
Location: The arena
--------------------------------------------------------
While the gentle, sober homes of the WWE Universe not paying to see the show live may share the same, if not more anticipation than the patrons live, but it only shows it individually and not the overall media attention that the WWE gets each and every week. The arena, however, although not serving this purpose directly and with full attention serve this purpose well. Especially this night, where the draft occurs, where everything will change not only for the WWE superstars, but for the WWE Universe in a particular way. The motives for this change, however, will not be popular to the mass of the masses and viewers, but shall occur nonetheless, but might rectify past dues piling up on the desk of professional wrestling according to most opinions given out daily by online "marks".........
As any person would guess, the scene of this event would be hectic before it would even begin. This is due to the provider itself, the hype, the event and the stars. Add these events together and one could assume that getting into seats wouldn't be the easiest task. If that person would assume such, their decision and calculations would be deemed correct. The paying patrons for said event were lined up miles outside the arena. Testy women with children tapping their toes, kids seemingly perpetually asking their parents, "When are we gonna get in?", teenage girls huffing, puffing and texting their friends at another location griping and complaining about the inconvience they're are experiencing, delinquents cutting in front of the line, police officers patrolling around to maintain order and of course, the classic plucky young lad who gets to see his first show and feature his favorite stars such as John Cena, John Cena, John Cena, John Cena and of course, John Cena. While this paints a vivid mental picture of the impatience the fans are experiencing OUTSIDE the arena, one could imagine the chaos going on INSIDE the arena. Inside the arena, moms holding their kids hands to rush in before the show starts, teenage girl mobs to seek and find young, attractive WWE superstars, the out of place high school nerd drooling at a cut-out of Kelly Kelly, fat guys buying pretzels before the show and little boys trying to "hold it in", but must subdue to their bodily urges.
Meanwhile, in the production truck, which really isn't given that much thought inside and outside the ring, young technical crew scramble around shouting random orders into their headsets signaling for another technical worker to do something. The main objective for this moment, however, is to find a file on the main computer containing the special intro video sequence for the Draft that showcases superstars from all two brands. With the file found, the technical worker doesn't give a second thought about playing it so that the show can officially start. One click away and the even t that has everyone talking will begin. The head of the technical crew barks final orders to the crew before showtime, but counts down from 5 to 1 to have the show officially start. The man at the computer nervously holds his finger above the mouse with the cursor ready to start the show. At precisely the minute the head of technical crew says 1, on pure binary instinct, he clicks the mouse. That one click signifies the beginning of a change that will rock the foundations of the WWE forever. Never would there be a day like today. April 26, 2010 would mark the era of a new champion. An era that will be recorded in the history books as......the "Perfection" era. An era where past dues would be paid and injustices would be rectified. And it would all start in the eye of the public with the special Draft opening.
The words of Vince McMahon from the opening, "It's time to shake things up again." mixed in with the uplifting that ignites emotions inside the patrons and viewers, rings in their heads as the waiting is now over. The show has finally begun...........
::Epilogue::
No more waiting, no more questions. No more delays. No more days to check off on the calendar. The WWE Draft has finally come. After all the hard work and preparation that was put into this special production, what can one expect from this years Draft? So many things can occur, that it can make one with low containment abilities to literally explode with joy and have the emotion and drama overtake their souls, but one thing will happen that will dry up their souls and leave a path of woe and grief and then bitter disappointment and for the head of Vince McMahon. What could stir such hatred in the hearts of those once enlightened and enchanted near innocent patrons that made up the WWE Universe?
End of PART I
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.
Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.
He was my North, my South, my East and West.
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever; I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.
Funeral Blues, W. H. Auden

::Prologue::
With nothing more to look forward too, the blood pressures can be lowered, tensions can be relieved and the speculation can finally die. The torture of commercials, blogs and countdown clocks can finally end as the WWE Draft has started! One truth that has stood the test of time when coming to the Draft is the fact that while their is great jubilation among all three parties, the stars, the patrons and the viewers, there is also great sorrow among all three parties. Minor to some, but major to others, sorrow is sorrow nonetheless no matter to what degree one can decide on. But there will be no sorrow more greater on the Draft that has ever been presented. A hard pill to swallow, everyone, whether they like it or not, will have to except this frightening and shocking chain of events leading up to this moment. Great merriment plagues the audience for now, but soon thorns of scorn shall root in their souls for eternity as they will be forced to say farewell...... and hello.
Adopted Sorrows: PART II
In a scene more familiar to all members of the WWE Universe is the actual show itself. The hard work and dedication of each and every show is rarely in their minds and if so, only for a short spell. This basic truth applies to the viewers at home around the world and especially to the paying patrons standing and cheering for the night to begin and for the adrenaline to spike to new heights in which no one in history has ever seen before. Like a usual baseball game or basketball game, cotton candy, popcorn, lemonade, sodas, T-shirts, peanuts and cracker jacks are sold by the dozens and also like a baseball or basketball game, it is not the major center of anyone's common interest. With spirits high and glee abound, no one would expect or expect to recover from the events that would transpire in only a few short moments. Fate's cruel game where the most cherished and revered would soon depart from their eyes..........
After the special opening is played, the Draft logo appears on screen, but quickly transits into the next scene. Shenanigans and jubilee as far as the eye can see for amongst the stands of the arena stand before the world the WWE Universe. Showing their love for this respectable profession in a not so respectable way. Crude yet clever handmade signs flood the arena like a sea of insults and mockery while some signs, although still as crude and clever, praise particular superstars. A tradition so highly respected and practiced among all sports fans, yet paid very minor attention to by the actual stars themselves. This fact does not hinder their enthusiasm but encourage it as some hope that their wit can be shown live on television for all the world to see. A few people get their wishes, but before their desire is granted, another tradition that never fails to occur takes place on the top of the ramp. The display of colorful fireworks. A seemingly superfluous tactic in the eyes of some, it's actually a very clever tactic used in order to hype up the event even more and create even more excitement and anticipation in the souls of those watching at home and the patrons at the actual show. As each colorful stream of luminous light flashes into the air accompanied by a loud bang, it captivates the crowd into another cheering frenzy. Before the usual transition to the announce team after this, clever signs dubbed television worthy by some cameramen are briefly presented to the world. One of these "worthy" signs is shown and held up over his head by a little boy on his father's shoulders. Both of them have matching outfits as they wear orange Cena merchandise and the sign itself only confirms their reason for doing so. The sign reads, "You Can't See Me" with a little arrow pointing at the boy. Another sign deemed "worthy" is held and raised above her head by a girl that looks in her mid-teens. It reads, "I Heard Voices In My Head....." then she turns it to the other side and the back reads, "They Told Me To See Orton!" With the major self-esteem boost by the minor interaction, the cameras pan down to the announce tables. Instead of there being two, the main announce team representing their brand and the Spanish announce team, both RAW and Smackdown have their own respective announce tables along with the very abused Spanish announce table which might be in for another construction after tonight's events transpire. Commentary is sure to be more biased from both sides of the show as sparks and emotion are bound to fire from all four men. Each announce team member has on either a RAW or Smackdown T-shirt to indicated which side they are on, but after the Draft, that could all change as they will be forced to go turncoat. Unlike what is expected to happen with who starts the night off since the Draft is on RAW, Smackdown's announce team consisting of Mike Tenay, who has worked for WCW and TNA in the past and Tazz, a former professional wrestler, now on the commentating scene. Both seem every ecstatic about tonight's event as the fans are. Without a moment's hesitation, Mike Tenay starts the night off with a smile, introducing himself, running down the card of matches, the Draft Concept and more to come along with Tazz.
::Mike Tenay::
"Hello everyone and welcome to a very special three hour edition episode of Monday Night RAW!! Tonight, we will witness a very special tradition done every year where RAW and Smackdown will drastically change with the addition of new superstars from the other brand. That's right! I'm talkin' about the WWE Draft! I'm Mike Tanya and joining me is my colleague and the other member of the Smackdown annoucne team, the one and only, Tazz."
With that being his cue, Tazz jumps in after Tenay's sentence to also discuss things about the Draft.
::Tazz::
"Thank you for that introduction, Mikey. I didn't think I could wait this long, but it's finally here, baby!"
::Mike Tenay::
"For those of you new WWE fans who wonder what the Draft is, here's how it goes. Tonight, we will see mostly interbrand matches featuring RAW and Smackdown superstars. when a superstar wins their match, their brand will get a random pick from the other brand and he or she will have to go to the other brand. In the past, we have seen many historic changes such as John Cena moving to RAW and Batista going to Smackdown making the World Heavyweight championship Smackdown property for the first time and tonight will be no different."
Tazz cuts in to announce the first match of the night where Mike will follow with the next match and so and so forth until all the matches are announced.
::Tazz::
"This match may be the opening match, but it's gonna be epic. it features two TNA alumni. AJ Styles and Kaz make their WWE debuts as they compete against each other in what's sure to be an epic highflying contest between two accomplished athletes."
::Mike Tenay::
"The next match will feature all RAW divas in a 9-diva match with the Women’s championship on the line. Ashley Devlin, Lita, Stacy Keibler, Hanna Beth, Natalya, Jillian Hall, Velvet Sky, Christy Hemme and the current Women’s Champion, Layla El will showcase their brains, brawns and beauty in this sure to be a 5 star match."
::Tazz::
"These kind of matches are always my favorite, especially when our side wins and with the current state of Team Smackdown, it's not hard to see Smackdown as the winning team. Team RAW, Triple H, Alexander Kendall, Edge and John Sturking will take on our Team Smackdown, Ambrioso Santiago, John Cena, Maven and Psycho Luke."
::Mike Tenay::
"In a 14 man over the top rope battle royal, seven superstars from RAW and seven superstars from Smackdown will compete. RAW participants include Chris Starr, Viscera, Sam Dibiase, Shawn Michaels, D-Lo Brown, Barton and Drew Mcintyre while Smackdown's include Derick Morris, Jeff Jarrett, Road Dogg, D'Angelo Dinero, Dan Hellman and Rey Mysterio."
::Tazz::
"In the next match, we'll see CM Punk from RAW take on Ray Relap from Smackdown. CM Punk was attacked last week after another victory and many people say it was Ray Relap. I guess we'll find out after their match."
::Mike Tenay::
"Because the Draft is such a special event, we will have not one, but two main events. The first one will feature RAW's Intercontinental Champion, Brain Gunn take on Smackdown's United States Champion, Chris Jericho. Brian has found great success on RAW, but Jericho is a former World Heavyweight Champion. With it being hard to tell who will walk out the victor, this should be a classic."
::Tazz::
"You wanna talk about classics? The next one will certainly be the headliner of the night. RAW's undefeated WWE Champion, the Undertaker will take on Smackdown's World Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle. This is the match that everyone's been talking about! Heads will be turned, ratings will fly and history will be made as these two big wrestling names compete."
::Mike Tenay::
"And that just about wraps everything up. You'll definitely want to look out for these matches, but for right now, let's go to Smackdown's backstage interviewer, Michael Cole in the ring now."
After the preview of what can be expected, the cameras pan to Michael Cole in the ring. He is wearing a tuxedo and holding a microphone in his left hand. He too, is all smiles as is the audience, but in a few short minutes, that will all change as a blessing to most, a curse to his foes and an immortal to all will escape the public eye and end his reign as wrestling's king. The entire world will weep for his loss for this loss will be permanent. No longer shall this historic sport be honored in the way he did every time he competed. This fact, unbeknownst to almost all, would rear it's ugly head in just a few short moments. But for now, it was all merriment and good willed tomfoolery for all.
::Michael Cole::
"Hello one and all! Welcome to the WWE Draft! I have some very exciting news for you all! Kurt Angle requested to Vince McMahon via email that he had a groundbreaking announcement that he would like to tell you all right now!"
Viewers and patrons alike cheer, yell, clap or do any form of action to show glee to present their excitement of Kurt Angle and whatever he had to say to the entire world. This announcement would certainly be groundbreaking, but at the same time heartbreaking. Mike Tenay cuts in before Cole speaks to the viewers again to express his share his personal feelings on what he expects from Kurt Angle.
::Mike Tenay::
"A word from Kurt Angle? This is gonna be great!"
Michael Cole smiles at the expected reaction from the crowd as he too feels the same way. He continues on speaking much to the interest of the viewers.
::Michael Cole::
"So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, here he is! The Heavyweight Champion of the world, Kurt Angle!"
Michael Cole starts clapping showing respect for Kurt Angle before his theme song plays on the PA system signaling to everyone the man of the hour was soon to arrive and address the people.
In no time at all, Kurt Angle emerges from backstage. However, he doesn't hold the same fiery emotion resembling an animal about to feed on his prey like he usually does. He seems more sluggish and forlorn. After what he would announce, everyone listening would react the same way. For a night that he previously mentioned he was looking forward to, mystery arises in some of those watching him make his way down the entrance ramp that not only is he not in his usual wrestling attire, but that he is in a black suit wearing black sunglasses. Also, he doesn't even have the World Heavyweight Championship anywhere around him. All he's carrying with him is a microphone. Mike Tenay takes note of his strange behavior as he makes his entrance. His behavior doesn't seem to matter to the audience as they clap and cheer even louder for him and the front row even does a bowing motion for him although Kurt doesn't seem to care or is too flattered by their respect signifying gesture.
::Mike Tenay::
"Tazz. Is it me or is Kurt Angle not acting like.......well......you know....Kurt?"
Tazz looks over at Tenay in bewilderment as he couldn't comprehend his questions as to why it would be legitimate.
::Tazz::
"What'd you mean, man? Kurt Angle's lookin' great!"
Mike Tenay looks at Tazz slightly irritated that he doesn't see it his way.
::Mike Tenay::
"Are you serious? Look at him. Even with those sunglasses on, I can tell he has some doubt or forlorn in his eyes. I don't know how to explain it, but I know this isn't the Kurt Angle we see in the ring or present himself when he's acting normal."
Tazz shrugs the facts presented to him that legitimately contradict his theory of absolute no presence of woe in Kurt Angle.
::Tazz::
"Whatever, man. Just as long as he beats Undertaker tonight, I know I'll be happy!"
After the little monologue that slightly foreshadows what's to come in a few short minutes, the cameras go back to Kurt Angle who is already on the apron. He looks around at all the smiling and cheering fans in the stands, but doesn't get to drawn up into the emotion and climbs into the ring. Instead of his usual posing on the top turnbuckle for the fans, he just lethargically walks to the middle of the ring.
::Mike Tenay::
"You see that? That proves it! Something's wrong with Kurt Angle. I don't care what anyone says!"
Tazz finally reaches and understanding for Mike's concern as he to sees Kurt's bizarre behavior for himself.
::Tazz::
"Yeah, I think I'm startin' to get it now. Well I know one thing and it's that Undertaker doesn't care about how crappy your week was or how you're feeling. If you're not prepared, he'll mess you up."
::Mike Tenay::
"As much as I hate to admit it, you're right. Things aren't looking good for Smackdown right now."
Back in the ring, Kurt Angle's music dies, but the enthusiasm from the crowd does not as they continue to cheer for the Olympic Hero. Kurt Angle, who's head is staring at the mat, looks up at the crowd, and and sulks a little bit more. Michael Cole decides that by Kurt's body language, it's best that he leave the ring. The audience finally picks up the bad vibes radiating out of Kurt Angle and stop cheering waiting to see what he does next. Kurt Angle just continues staring out the crowd but with absolutely no intention of gaining their interest. From the clues Mike Tenay picked up, it's safe to assume that Kurt isn't in the best of moods. This silence continues for about twenty five seconds before he lifts his head back up and raises the microphone closer to his lips. He takes a deep sigh and goes on with what he has on his mind. Someone with common sense would figure it's safe to say, whatever Kurt has on his mind, would certainly not bring any smiles to anyone's face.
::Kurt Angle::
"Uh.......I really don't know........"
Kurt pauses in the middle of his sentence takes his sunglasses off to wipe something from his eye. He then puts them back on and continues speaking.
::Kurt Angle::
"Like I was saying....I really don't know how I can bring myself to tell you this. Um..........a lot of you guys......who have been with me since the start of my professional career as a wrestler know that over the years, I've been having problems with my neck."
After the mention of his neck, Kurt takes another pause to mildly rub it. This is usually a sign of awkwardness which couldn't be further from the truth of Kurt Angle's feelings. Once again, after another pause, he starts again.
::Kurt Angle::
"I've had countless surgeries on it......but I've always managed to pull through. To be honest with you, I've gotta tell you all something that I've been hiding ever since the Great American Bash."
Kurt pauses yet again to exhale a great amount of air, relieving tension form himself in order to bring out the startling truth that was about to be uttered from his lips in just a few short seconds.
::Kurt Angle::
"In my match with Jericho.............I.... reinjured my neck."
The crowd gasps at the shocking truth they've just heard from Kurt Angle. After the gasp, the audience starts muttering amongst themselves telling the other about their reaction and feelings towards what they just heard.
::Tazz::
"You mean.........."
::Mike Tenay::
"All this time? He's been hiding a neck injury all this time."
Kurt Angle silences the murmur simply by continuing with his statement.
::Kurt Angle::
"Um....yeah. You see, when Jericho rammed me in that steel cage headfirst, a vertebrae in my upper spinal cord slipped out of place slightly. I thought I could just brush it off, but the more a wrestled afterwards, the worse it got. Now, it's almost completely slipped out of place and now it's twisted. It is because of this that I am in no condition to wrestle tonight against the Undertaker."
A sigh of disappointment emerges from the audience. The same exhaling gesture is practiced by the millions of fans in the WWE Universe. More murmur occurs but this time, in a more angry tone. On watching around the world once again, Kurt's simple continuation of his speech silences the murmur.
::Kurt Angle::
"Unfortunately, that's not all. Because of this not only will I not be able to compete tonight, but not for at least half a year. Because of this, I am forced to relinquish my World Heavyweight Championship."
No gasps, no sighs. Just complete..... utter.......... silence. The viewers and patrons are shocked at this startling news. The camera pan to Mike Tenay and Tazz at ringside staring at each other in complete utter silence, mouths open. Kurt Angle allows everyone to soak in the bad news and take it to heart. Soon, everyone starts feeling like Kurt Angle was. Forlorn, bitter, cold inside. Living definitions of woe. After he feels everyone has contained all the grief they possibly can, Kurt starts talking again.
::Kurt Angle::
"Hold on, everyone. There's more news I want to tell you. I'm not gonna leave you empty handed. I'm gonna make sure that you all get the main event that you wre waiting weeks for and the only way to do that........is to introduce to all of you, the new World Heavyweight Champion."
Mike Tenay is the first one heard to comment on Kurt's cryptic statement.
::Mike Tenay::
"New champ? What does Kurt mean by that?"
::Tazz::
"No idea. Kurt will definitely elaborate in a few seconds."
The viewers at home and the patrons in the stands wonder this cryptic statement themselves. Kurt puts their minds at ease with his answer.
::Kurt Angle::
"You see, I had a chat with Vinnie Mac about giving the championship to someone who I thought deserved it. Like most of you, I say that it's time we have some new talent exposed on this show and not just some daisy picking pansy who flaps his gums about not getting his opportunity to bask in the limelight. I mean someone with potential and a pair to stand up to anyone he faces. When I was looking at their matches and hearing them in the back, I just thought half this place was filled with cookie cutting, Xbox playing nerds. But then, I saw him. There was this one guy I saw and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw him in the ring. Each move he performed was like poetry. Elegance, good looks, dexterity and skill. This guy had it all. After his match, I caught up with him and I told him about my mission to find a new champion. I asked him a couple questions about his life and his passion for wrestling to make sure it wasn’t a fluke or a dream. I heard his story about him always wanting to be a wrestler, how he always wanted his shot at glory and become the best wrestler in the world. I was touched. It wasn’t some fan boy blogger with a fantasy. It was a hero with a dream. But, I’ve gotta tell you, he's made a lot of mistakes in the past, but he's matured a lot back then. You can say he traded in poms poms for wrestling boots. So, without further ado, I present to you, your new World Heavyweight Champion who will certainly have no trouble taking care of Undertaker tonight."
Kurt Angle stops talking and looks towards the ramp awaiting the new World Heavyweight Champion.......
::Epilogue::
With the saddened news of Kurt Angles time off, no involvement whatsoever in the main event and the passing of the World Heavyweight Championship to someone else, the crowd is left saddened, surprised and full of suspense on who Kurt Angle's choice of replacement is. Who is the new World Heavyweight Champion and how will he fill in for Kurt Angle in his leave of absence? How will he able to take on not only Undertaker tonight, but also Kurt’s future endeavors that he was supposed to face by himself?

There is inside you
All of the potential
To be whatever you want to be;
All of the energy
To do whatever you want to do.
Imagine yourself as you would like to be,
Doing what you want to do,
And each day, take one step
Towards your dream.
And though at times it may seem too
difficult to continue,
Hold on to your dream.
One morning you will awake to find
That you are the person you dreamed of,
Doing what you wanted to do,
Simply because you had the courage
To believe in your potential
And to hold on to your dream.

::Prologue::
As always, the WWE Draft is full of surprises and twists and turns that are more undetectable than a carbon monoxide build up. None of these surprises however, seem to leave emotional scars as the WWE Universe seem to cope with the ones they find negative since up until this point, the only surprises that were of any interest were the brand switches of major superstars like John Cena or Randy Orton, the split of a popular tag team or announce team or the introduction of a brand new authority figure to the brand that in majority, isn't such a popular move. This time, however, is something completely different. Before the night even officially starts, Kurt Angle reveals he's been hiding a neck injury suffered at the hands of Chris Jericho in their clash inside a steel cage at the Great American Bash. Over the next two weeks, however, Kurt Angle's injury got worse with each match he got in up to the point where the pain was unbearable and he could no longer compete in the ring anymore so he informed the live audience and the viewers watching around the world that he was forced to vacate the World Heavyweight Championship and have surgery on his neck. This meant no Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle in what was sure to be a classic. The audience whipped their emotions into a near riot until Kurt Angle assured them that he would not leave the people empty handed, but that he would rather give the World Heavyweight Championship to someone who deserves it. Someone who has never won a world championship before in his life and someone new in the professional wrestling scene. Despite these facts that would make someone with common sense rethink their decision, Kurt Angle ensured the audience and the rest of the WWE Universe that this person would indeed not only fill in for him better than anyone else, but that he would defeat the Undertaker, RAW's undefeated WWE Champion responsible for the Miz's disappearance. Now, the audience awaits the arrival of the new World Heavyweight Champion...........
Adopted Sorrows: PART III
Anticipation and suspense fill the hearts of the viewers watching at home and the live audience similar to the way they felt when they were waiting for the WWE Draft to officially begin as with the news of Kurt Angle's time off from the ring to repair his injured neck and the promise of the new World Heavyweight Champion, both Kurt Angle and the viewers wait for his arrival. In similar seating position to the live audience, the viewers in all nations watching their televisions, either in solitude or with friends and family, are at the edge of their seats. Palms begins to sweat, heartbeats begin to race, blood pressure begins to spike and bones begin to shake. Thirty seconds of silence and their suspense still hasn't shaken or moved but increased. Finally, a familiar theme song plays on the PA system. This would be a tune that in the next couple of months that everyone would be forced to listen and appreciate as it would signal the arrival of the World Heavyweight Champion. The song starts off with three words that although sound like an egotistical statement, would not cause any scorn against him over the weeks he would compete. But for now, either way, the WWE Universe would have to get used to the dawn of a new era, The "Perfection" era.........
Mike Tenay and Tazz, much like the rest of the viewers, are completely shocked.
::Mike Tenay::
"What the hell?! Is that who I think it is?"
Mike Tenay's question is answered when in about five seconds, the man who would replace Kurt Angle emerges from backstage in the form of the 29 year old, Florida native also known amongst the WWE Universe as Dolph Ziggler with the World Heavyweight Championship across his waist. A big, bright smile is painted across his face as he was the one chosen by Kurt Angle himself, a respected wrestling veteran. This smile, however, was not the smile of the cocky, egotistical smile that the WWE Universe has seen from Dolph Ziggler in the past, but of a more innocent smile. Despite Kurt Angle's claim that Ziggler has matured, the audience and the viewers still find him in his old attire consisting of a sleeveless polka dotted, open jacket and polka dotted gloves that reveal his fingers. Despite this, it seems that Dolph Ziggler has changed in subtle ways as he doesn't do his usual pose on the top of the ramp consisting of him bending backwards, placing his hands at the back of his head and quickly sliding them forward across his hair and stretching them outward while returning to a vertical base. The cameras pan back to the ring where we find Kurt Angle smiling at him and clapping for Ziggler. Soon, black, white and red confetti starts streaming down form the ceiling as Dolph Ziggler, who is trying to fight back tears, walks down the ramp towards the ring. Dolph, though subtly, has proven to everyone that he has changed but most if not all the audience members and television viewers, who have been silent up until this point in pure shock turn it into feelings of anger and bitterness as they start to boo and jeer at him. and other forms of verbal abuse that show their hatred for Dolph Ziggler. Though most of them shared an understanding for Kurt Angle's beliefs of newcomers being able to have their shot at the big time, they didn't expect or want Dolph Ziggler to be Kurt Angle's "chosen one" in anyway, shape or form. A majority of them would have preferred someone like Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne or even Primo. Not someone who has proven in the past that he sees professional wrestling as a popularity contest. Not only that, but most of them felt that there was no way that the Undertaker vs. Dolph Zigler would ever compare to Kurt Angle vs. The Undertaker. Dolph Ziggler, despite this blatant fact, is so caught up in his emotions that he couldn't comprehend their hate and thought the exact opposite; that they were cheering for him. In reaction to his confused thinking, Dolph Ziggler starts waving at the audience which makes them even angrier but because of Dolph Ziggler's clouded judgment, he does an inverse reaction if the audience had any liking to him which in turn, makes the viewers angrier and angrier at the minute as they confuse his innocent confusion for selective obliviousness. Tazz and Mike Tenay decided to respond to what they see as Dolph's bizarre behavior.
::Tazz::
"Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Ziggler fan, but I don't think he understands that booing means that they hate you."
::Mike Tenay::
"I think he understands, Tazz. I'm guessing that this big thing happening to him has just clouded his thinking right now. Hopefully, he snaps out of it when he realizes that he's gonna have to put up with this kind of thing on a regular basis and the fact he faces one of the best veterans and respected athletes in professional wrestling in just a few hours."
::Tazz::
"Agreed. He better.........."
Tazz looks over to his left and starts laughing.
::Mike Tenay::
"What's so funny?"
::Tazz::
"Jerry over there is ranting like hell! Look at his face!"
Tazz is referring to Jerry "the King" Lawler over at the RAW announce table where he is seen yelling into his microphone. Obviously, like most of the viewers watching both in the live audience and at home, he is not too pleased with Kurt Angle's decision. By the time, the announcers stop their little discussion on what just happened, Dolph Ziggler is already in the ring, standing on the top turnbuckle holding the World Heavyweight Championship over his head. The confetti stops raining down and his music stops playing. Like a little boy on Christmas, Dolph Ziggler starts jumping around the ring like a kangaroo holding the World Heavyweight Championship close to his chest. Kurt Angle walks up to him and stops him. He then whispers in his ear then leads him in the middle of the ring. Kurt Angle then holds his hand up signaling the audience to be quiet. Kurt Angle raises the microphone up his lips.
::Kurt Angle::
"Everyone, I'd like you all to show some respect for your new World Heavyweight Champion by letting him have a few minutes of your time to address all of you tonight. So here he is!"
Kurt Angle starts clapping for Ziggler again who is all smiles. He hands him his microphone and leaves the ring. Dolph Ziggler inches towards the middle of the ring. It's obvious he is a little bit nervous. Everything seemed to happen to him at once. He's been awarded the World Heavyweight Championship from the one and only, Kurt Angle and now he has to leave his comfort zone and speak to the crowd. Because of his awkward and nervous feelings, he now realizes by all the booing that the majority of the crowd, seemingly all, don't adore him in any way shape or form. This realization makes it even worse for Ziggler as he tries to concentrate and say the right words. He tries his best to conceal his nervousness, but it's obvious. Wanting nothing more than to see him crack under pressure, a chant starts amongst the audience and even the viewers from around the world join in too as this global verbal abuse gets louder and louder by the second.
Without the strict PG rating, the chanters would have used more harsher words, but their message comes out across just the same as Ziggler gets even more nervous and tongue-tied. His legs start shaking and he starts to sweat. Kurt Angle, at ringside, decides to end the embarrassment for Ziggler by coming in the ring, snatching the microphone form Ziggler and starts shouting in the microphone.
::Kurt Angle::
"SHUT UP!!! Everyone just shut the hell up!"
The audience completely goes silent. Kurt Angle, who is red in the face and very upset, starts giving the audience an earful.
::Kurt Angle::
"What the hell is wrong with you, you ungrateful bastards!? I give you a near perfect replacement with everything you need to be a proper World Heavyweight Champion and you boo him?!!? You believe in young talent having a chance, yet you boo him for showing potential? What the hell is that? Damn it, the least you can do is show the decency to have him talk, but you know what? I'm not gonna do that! Instead, I'm going to give him the opportunity to prove himself tonight when he faces the Undertaker and if any of you don't like it, too bad! He's champ! No questions asked!"
The audience responds with neither boo or cheer. A speech like that from an ordinary person would certainly get boos, but coming from Kurt Angle, the audience rethinks their previous feelings for Ziggler as Kurt Angle leads Dolph Ziggler out the ring as the audience reflects on their barbaris behavior. Even the announce team reflect their feelings as both Ziggelr and Angle walk up the ramp together side by side. As they reach the top, Kurt Angle turns around and says something else in the microphone that sends Ziggler in a moment of happiness.
::Kurt Angle::
"And one more thing. After my surgery is done and I can at least walk afterwards, I'm gonna be this guy's manager until I'm 100%!"
With that, Kurt Angle drops the microphone and the two disappear behind the curtain as the show goes to a commercial break.
::Epilogue::
Dolph Ziggler, the new World Heavyweight Champion, inevitably has a difficult time swaying the crowd in his favor. With ths inability to even get a single word out, was Kurt Angle's choice the right one to make?

A purpose that can fill his days,
And goals to fill his mind!
The world is filled with little men
Content with where they are;
Not knowing joys success can bring,
No will to go that far!
Yet, in this world there is a need,
For men to lead the rest
To rise above the "average" life,
By giving of their best!
Would you be one, who dares to try,
When challenged by the task;
To rise to heights you've never seen,
Or is that too much to ask?
This is your day--a world to win
Great purpose to achieve;
Accept the challenge of your goals
And in yourself, believe!
You will be proud of what you've done,
When at the close of day;
You look back on your battles won,
Content, you came this way!

::Prologue::

::Epilogue::
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever; I was wrong.
The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.
Funeral Blues, W. H. Auden

::Prologue::
::Mike Tenay::
::Tazz::
"Thank you for that introduction, Mikey. I didn't think I could wait this long, but it's finally here, baby!"
::Mike Tenay::
::Tazz::
"This match may be the opening match, but it's gonna be epic. it features two TNA alumni. AJ Styles and Kaz make their WWE debuts as they compete against each other in what's sure to be an epic highflying contest between two accomplished athletes."
::Mike Tenay::
::Tazz::
::Mike Tenay::
"In a 14 man over the top rope battle royal, seven superstars from RAW and seven superstars from Smackdown will compete. RAW participants include Chris Starr, Viscera, Sam Dibiase, Shawn Michaels, D-Lo Brown, Barton and Drew Mcintyre while Smackdown's include Derick Morris, Jeff Jarrett, Road Dogg, D'Angelo Dinero, Dan Hellman and Rey Mysterio."
::Tazz::
"In the next match, we'll see CM Punk from RAW take on Ray Relap from Smackdown. CM Punk was attacked last week after another victory and many people say it was Ray Relap. I guess we'll find out after their match."
::Mike Tenay::
::Tazz::
::Mike Tenay::
::Michael Cole::
::Mike Tenay::
"A word from Kurt Angle? This is gonna be great!"
Michael Cole smiles at the expected reaction from the crowd as he too feels the same way. He continues on speaking much to the interest of the viewers.
::Michael Cole::
::Mike Tenay::
"Tazz. Is it me or is Kurt Angle not acting like.......well......you know....Kurt?"
Tazz looks over at Tenay in bewilderment as he couldn't comprehend his questions as to why it would be legitimate.
::Tazz::
"What'd you mean, man? Kurt Angle's lookin' great!"
Mike Tenay looks at Tazz slightly irritated that he doesn't see it his way.
::Mike Tenay::
::Tazz::
::Mike Tenay::
"You see that? That proves it! Something's wrong with Kurt Angle. I don't care what anyone says!"
Tazz finally reaches and understanding for Mike's concern as he to sees Kurt's bizarre behavior for himself.
::Tazz::
"Yeah, I think I'm startin' to get it now. Well I know one thing and it's that Undertaker doesn't care about how crappy your week was or how you're feeling. If you're not prepared, he'll mess you up."
::Mike Tenay::
::Kurt Angle::
"Uh.......I really don't know........"
Kurt pauses in the middle of his sentence takes his sunglasses off to wipe something from his eye. He then puts them back on and continues speaking.
::Kurt Angle::
::Kurt Angle::
::Kurt Angle::
"In my match with Jericho.............I.... reinjured my neck."
The crowd gasps at the shocking truth they've just heard from Kurt Angle. After the gasp, the audience starts muttering amongst themselves telling the other about their reaction and feelings towards what they just heard.
::Tazz::
"You mean.........."
::Mike Tenay::
"All this time? He's been hiding a neck injury all this time."
Kurt Angle silences the murmur simply by continuing with his statement.
::Kurt Angle::
::Kurt Angle::
::Kurt Angle::
::Mike Tenay::
"New champ? What does Kurt mean by that?"
::Tazz::
"No idea. Kurt will definitely elaborate in a few seconds."
The viewers at home and the patrons in the stands wonder this cryptic statement themselves. Kurt puts their minds at ease with his answer.
::Kurt Angle::
::Epilogue::

To be whatever you want to be;
All of the energy
To do whatever you want to do.
Imagine yourself as you would like to be,
Doing what you want to do,
And each day, take one step
Towards your dream.
And though at times it may seem too
difficult to continue,
Hold on to your dream.
One morning you will awake to find
That you are the person you dreamed of,
Doing what you wanted to do,
Simply because you had the courage
To believe in your potential
And to hold on to your dream.

::Prologue::
::Mike Tenay::
::Tazz::
"Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Ziggler fan, but I don't think he understands that booing means that they hate you."
::Mike Tenay::
::Tazz::
"Agreed. He better.........."
Tazz looks over to his left and starts laughing.
::Mike Tenay::
"What's so funny?"
::Tazz::
::Kurt Angle::
::Kurt Angle::
"SHUT UP!!! Everyone just shut the hell up!"
The audience completely goes silent. Kurt Angle, who is red in the face and very upset, starts giving the audience an earful.
::Kurt Angle::
::Kurt Angle::
"And one more thing. After my surgery is done and I can at least walk afterwards, I'm gonna be this guy's manager until I'm 100%!"
With that, Kurt Angle drops the microphone and the two disappear behind the curtain as the show goes to a commercial break.
::Epilogue::
Dolph Ziggler, the new World Heavyweight Champion, inevitably has a difficult time swaying the crowd in his favor. With ths inability to even get a single word out, was Kurt Angle's choice the right one to make?
