The scene opens up with the Raw logo coming across the camera screen. The RAW theme song begins blaring. The pyros shoot off as we go across the arena and see that every seat in the arena is filled with excited fans. The fans shout and scream as the camers pass by them. Many are holding signs supporting their favorite Raw and Smackdown superstars. Many also hold up signs that belittle various athletes, heels and faces alike. We also see the occasional RAW and SMACKDOWN signs being held up high. We go past both the Spanish and English announce tables and teams. It seems as if though they are just setting up their microphones. The RAW theme song continues to play as the cameras take up backstage past the velvet curtains. We see many setting up the equipment, the refreshment tables and running around rampidly. Various superstars and divas can be seen walking around and talking. They wear their respective brand colors. Intercontinental champion Brian Gunn and Layle El are seen standing near the refreshment table exchanging words and laughter. Suddenly the camera's focus changes and turns directly to the back entrance. The door opens and.... Smackdown's own World Heavyweight champion Kurt Angle enters the arena with the now unemployed Cody Rhodes walks through the cold steel doors. Gunn, The Miz, Mr Kennedy and various other Raw superstars look on with distain and bitterness as the Smackdown stars appear and walk through the the halls. Like always, Kurt is wearing one of his signature suites and Cody Rhodes just looks like a child. They continue their walk through the halls until they come to the Smackdown lockeroom. The door opens and we see Smackdown's General Manager Eric Bischoff rallying John Cena, Psycho Luke and Ambrosio Santiago, three fourths of TEAM SMACKDOWN. Maven is the one man that is missing. Eric smiles from the sight of the World Heavyweight champion entering the room. They shake hands as Kurt sets his bags down. The door opens once again as the remaining Smackdown roster begins swarming into the locker room. The door slams shut as we go to ringside with Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Jim Ross: Welcome to Monday Night Raw! I'm Jim Ross alongside my partner Jerry "The King" Lawler! Tonight is a special three hour event as Thy WWE's first ever draft will take place.
King: That's right JR. Tonight every match will be interbrand. The winning brand's superstar ill be awarded a draft pick of random choosing. Can you imagine who could be coming to Raw? We could receive The United States champion Chris Jericho. Or THe world Heavyweight champion Kurt Angle!
Jim Ross: But if a Raw superstar loses his match we would be losing one of our beloved stars to Smackdown. Like CM Punk could go back, Alexander Kendall or Even The Undertaker! It's a chance that Vince is willing to take in order to obtain some of Smackdown's brightest talent.
King: Im sure the chairman knows what he's doing JR. But let's take a few moments here to talk about the great matches we have for the fans tonight. First of all, I can already tell you which match is going to be my favorite JR. That is the seven way match involving the divas and.....PUPPIES!!
Jim Ross: My god King get ahold of yourself. We have a show to do. Yes that match will be for the Women's championship here on Raw. But the match that most people are looking forward to is the four on four match up. We will see eight of Thy WWE's elite competitors square off for brand supremacy. Team Raw consists of Triple H, Edge, Alexander Kendall and John Sturking.
King: That's right JR. Team Smackdown will consist of John Cena, Maven Psycho Luke and Ambrosia Santiago. The way it looks each team has two veterans and two up and comers. I have confidence that Team Raw will pull off the big win here tonight. We also have Intercontinental champion Brian Gunn taking on United States champion Chris Jericho. This one should be a match for the ages JR.
Jim Ross: Agreed. Both men are hungry for a big win here. Both men want to be the one bringing home the pick for their respective brands. Chris Jericho is a legend in the making but Gunn has the drive and urge to go through the ranks and become larger than life. The main event will feature both World Heavyweight champions will take each on. The Undertaker and Kurt Angle have a history of matches back in the original WWE.
King: The reputation of both brands will be on the line during this match. Kurt Angle and Taker hold the brands on their shoulders. Which brand will come out victorious? We'll find out later tonight!
Suddenly memory hits as two stage hands come bursting onto the ramp and roll a red carpet down the ramp. They take off backstage as blue pyros shoot off from both sides of the ramp in glorious fashion. From behind the curtain Maven makes his way onto the ramp in an expensive looking suit. He has two beautiful women on each arm. The one on the left is a blonde with wearing a glimmering blue slinky dress. On the right a brunette is wearing a glimmering black slinky dress. Maven has a bluish black suit on with black shades. He stands at the top of the ramp with a grin from ear to ear. They slowly make their way down the ramp as the Smackdown fans go nuts from the mere sight of Maven. Numerous women jump up and down and one unfortunate woman faints in the front row. Theystop as Maven looks on... But just lets out a small chuckle as he continues his journey down the ramp. They reach the bottom. Both girls kiss Maven on each side of the face before waving to the fans and walking back up the ramp. Maven fixes his collar before lightly stepping up the steel stairs. He ascends the turnbuckle with his arms in the air before pounding on his chest and jumping from the top of the turnbuckle into the ring. The fans continue to erupt with delight as Maven walks over to the far right corner and requests a microphone. He stands in the middle of the ring. He takes his shades off to show his pearly glimmering eyes. A change of appearance it seems for Maven. He smiles before beginning to speak.
Maven: It's been awhile since I've stepped foot in a Raw ring. As I remember correctly the last time I was here I was screwed out of the WWE championship. I got my revenge though. I gave the Dead man an M-plosion. Dumb pig deserved it. After that as you all know I was traded to Smackdown. The best damn desision Vince ever made was shipping me over to the winning brand. No one on Raw respected me. You all boo'd me and belittled me. None of you showed me any respect! None of you would know talent if it bit you on the ass! Vince knew that he wouldnt be able to contain the madness that is Maven! Once I hit Smackdown I had yet another Mcmahon to deal with. This time was Vinces dumbass son Shane. That bastard did everything in his power to hold me back. They both succeeded. They kept me in the shadows and away from the lime light. They let undeserving men obtain gold while I was stuck opening the show with meaningless men like John Morrison and Rey Mysterio. I made a vow that I would reach the top at one point in my career. And I came one step closer to that goal last week on Smackdown when I defeated the World Heavyweight champion Kurt Angle!
Yeah that's right. I pinned the world champion on Smackdown and if that doesn't prove to the world that I'm skilled than nothing will. Kurt Angle is a top notch athlete and is always at the top of his game. It should'nt come as a surprise to anyone in the back though considering my athletism agility and power that I could take Angle down without breaking a sweat. If Angle has a flaw it has to be his show boating. That was one of the many things that led to his down fall. You see the suit, the red carpet all the glamorous preperations you see before you is the celebration from my win. I have class. I'm not just the amazing body you see when you tune into Smackdown. For now though, you will remain the World champion Kurt. Fore I have bigger fish to fry tonight as team SMACKDOWN takes on team RAW! Tonight I will lead my team of gladiators into battle against the home team. Alone with myself we have John Cena Psycho Luke and Ambrosio Santiago. Two rookies and two veterans. THen we have the members of Team Raw. Leading them into battle is Triple H who is backed by The Rock, John Sturking and Alexander Kendall.
The fans cheer loudly and explosively from the Raw team being announced. Maven is taken a back. He looks a bit disguisted from the support.
Maven: Yeah you can cheer all you want for those pack of rabid dogs. Hell the entire world can support them and it won't make any difference. Me and team Smackdown will still be the ones walking away with our hands held high. Everyone knows that Smackdown is the superior brand. We have the first undisputed champion Chris Jericho. We have the only olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle. We have the TNA founder Jeff Jarrett. And we have the adonis himself, Maven! Of course you all knew that. All the Raw roster has to offer are all of those tramps you call divas and the zombie like Undertaker. We have the most decorated athletes here in THY WWE. There isn't one Raw superstar that can compete with us. But maybe I should begin with giving more history of Team Raw.
Maven: First we have the cerebral assassin, The game, the King of Kings, Triple H! You know they put that blow hard in the Guinesse book of world records for the most World championships? Can you believe that shit. Hmm I wonder why he was able to obtain so many of them. It couldn't be the fact that he's married and sleeping with the bosses daughter now could it. I have to give it to you though. You've dont everything in this business from winning the King of the ring to being a multiple world champion. That was of course when you were younger and more agile. You had a lot going for you back then. But now you just can't stand to have anyone bigger than you can you. No one can outshine you Triple H. Otherwise it's a crime. It's practically a pink slip. You were Thy WWE's first intercontinental champion. Then you allowed yourself to fall to the young demented Brian Gunn. You need to realize something Hunter. The times are changing and so are the superstars. You've grown flabby and just plain boring. You're by far one of the most overrated stars in professional wrestling. When Thy WWE first came to be you formed an alliance with the Undertaker. Proclaiming that you two would lead a ministry and take over. That never came to pass because Taker got rid of you. He knew that you would try to outshine him. You always have Hunter. Youre pathetic really. You can't fight your own battles. You always hide behind someone. In the beginning it was Chyna and Degeneration. Then came the Corporation and corporate ministry. FInally came Evolution. You did to them what you've tried doing to every man and woman on the roster. Once they used up their usefullness, you disposed of them. You may be one of the best that the business had to offer, but I am the future of this company and the future is looking bright. Next comes the "Rated R Superstar" Edge. Now this guy is a piece of work. He came into professional wrestling on June 22nd 1998 in a match against Jose Estrada. He won by count out by the way. And now you're some big shot right. You're nothing! Not as bad as Hunter but pretty damn close. You're another man that has done pretty much everything in his era. You even held the tag team champions with Hulk Hogan at one point in your career. I don't understabd why anyone watches you compete. You're boring. You do the same old thing every week. The same taunts, the same moves and the same old useless spear. And don't get me started on that joke of a talk show the cutting edge. You think you're clever bringing your oppoents out as the guest and then attacking them. See i could do that too without wasting time setting up a couch a television and other pointless objects. All I have to do is walk up to them and jack them in the face. You have been on top for far too long and it's time for a change Edge. I'm the man thats going to take control and unify the Smackdown roster for the cause of decimating Raw. I will make you bleed Edge. If you attempt the spear I can easily counter it into an M-plosion. It's kinda funny though. You won the 2010 Royal Rumble and lost to none other than Smackdown's own United States champion Chris Jericho! Tonight may be the first time someone pushes you over the Edge Adam.
The third member of the team is a relative newcomer who came close to having an undefeated streak. CM Punk didn't let that happen. His name is Alexander Kendall. THe only thing bigger than his head is his ego. Not much is known about this guy. Something about him snapping and having a younger brother. Honestly though who really cares? YOu dubbed yourself the "dark horse". Was is because your brother was beteer than you? That every promotion chose him over you? You're nothing more than a mere shadow of your brother. Nothing you can ever do will amount to anything in this company. It's all about those egotistical blow hards that run this place. The Undertaker and Triple H control everything that goes on here on Raw. You will never get any respect as long as you're a member of the Raw roster. Maybe once this draft is over maybe you will be apart of the superior blue brand. The winning team! You're of no threat to me. Just a scape goat for the other members of the team.
Finally we come to John Sturking. You're just a John Cena look alike. Except for the fact that you're six foot seven. You tend to act like the Undertaer as well I hear. You have ties with the intercontinental champion Brian Gunn. What a pity. A man of your size would think twice about letting someone that is so small compared to you control you. You call yourself the Evil Awakening. I dont see anything Evil about you. You shall be one of the easiest preys of the night Sturking. You could be more powerful than I am. But I have intelligence and speed over you. Its not about the size of the dog. But what the dog can do in the yard. Ive fought bigger guys than you and have won over them. I've defeated the Undertaker in the past to win a Hardcore championship in the first WWE. I shall contonue to defeat giants. Your name is next on the list. You boys have a lot to plan and talk about. If you want any chance of defeating us tonight you'll have to come up with something good and fast.
Now onto Team Smackdown. First me have the man leading this squad, Maven! I'm the one that will bring Smackdown bac to it's former glory. Take a look at me. I'm six foot two and two hundred and twenty pounds of raw uncut muscle. Im a former three time Hardcore champion in the originally WWE. I was the very first Tough Enough Winner. I was a general manager for a night at one point. Ive honed my skills and body to where no one looks or is better than me. I've ran with the big dogs. You all know that. I held THY WWE's World championship for mere minutes but I still had it! Let the record show that I was the World champion! None of you can take that away from me! I am Smackdown's greatest aquisition! No one is greater than Maven! No one!
Another man that will represent Team Smackdown is John Cena! Now this guy is a legend in the making. He has held nine WWE/World championships in the original federation. He was a former Tag Team champion with Shawn Michaels. He had the United States championship as well. He has had notable feuds with almost every top name in the industry. He's one of the most decorated men on Smackdown. Shit we don't even need Psycho Luke and Ambrosia Santiago. As long as they show up and give some effort, this could all work out.
Tonight is historic. For all MY fans and SMACKDOWN's fans, I will give it my all. I refuse to let the Raw imbeciles take over and outshine us. I may have started off on Raw but I have no respect for any man or woman on the roster. Can you even call them women? They parade around in their underwear half the time. The fans want to see real wrestling! Not a bunch of bimbos showing off theirs breasts. The only one that wants to see that is The King over there. I may have started off on Raw but I have no respect for any man or woman on the roster. Can you even call them women? They parade around in their underwear half the time. The fans want to see real wrestling! Not a bunch of bimbos showing off theirs breasts. The only one that wants to see that is The King over there. Smackdown will forever be immortalized after tonight! Wether or not I will remain on Smackdown or get drafted to the inferior brand Raw, I will make a statement! I will be remembered for everything that I accomplished. For leading Smackdown to it's greatest victory in years! I'm taking THY WWE to the next step! I'm raising the bar of talent here. You aren't anything until you earn my respect and you all have the chance tonight. But it won't be eay. I'll tell you that much. This concerns all Smackdown talent. If any of you allow a Raw competitor to win, I will deal with you personally. I will not let any of you disgrace the good name of SMACKDOWN!
