[/img] Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all time thing. You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.
- Vince Lombardi The scene opens up and we see a clip from RAW 106. Everyone should remember, it only being a week ago. The clip begins at the end of the match, Blade LaVigne versus Dan Hellman. {Blade chuckles and turns so he is facing JTB. Then he lifts Hellman up and drops him a giant sit down powerbomb, and follows up with a cover while staring in to the Bastard's eyes...}
1..2...3!
DING DING DING
Phil: Blade LaVigne has done it! He gets a shot at the title at Oppression!The clip ends as we hear a voice of a man. This man was none other than Blade "The Future" LaVigne. Blade sitting on a leather couch, lending forward, eyes glued onto the television. As the clip ended, Blade picks up the TV remote and shuts the television off. Blade looks into the camera and begins to speak. ==Blade "The Future" LaVigne==
"The road ahead isn't clear ... but this week something is and that is ... me defeating you and becoming Intercontinental Champion!"
Those words came out of my mouth the week I captured my first defeat here in Thy WWE. Joey the Bastard was ready for everything I had to offer and I swore the next chance I received, the results would be different and I would walk out of the match, champion.
My mother use to tell me all the time that, "Dreams are just dreams without actions."
I took that quote from her and I let it burn into my brain because it makes so much sense. You can dream about achieving all of your goals but if you just sit there and do nothing, then that is what you will get back, nothing. You must get up and reach for your goals. They are not going to walk to you and my mother always told me that is the mindset you need to succeed in this world.
Something early in my career I never fully understood her message.
Back in Sin City Wrestling, I had the heart and passion to be great but I allowed guys like Austin Starr to walk all over me and take my opportunities. I had a losing mindset and I failed to reach the top of the ladder. My mother use to tell me stories when I was young, stories about war heros and people in history who left behind a legacy.
Left behind memories that they'd always be remembered by.
She always went into detail, explaining what they did and how people honored and respected them today. People risking their lifes for this country. Not because they wanted to, but because they had to. I remember her telling me that we all should work hard in life so that we can leave with a legacy, which that people will always remember us by. She told me, the LaVigne name hasn't been the most respected in the world.
We had no famous movie stars or war heros in the family. We barely got by. We lived off of hard work and minding our own business.Blade lends forward, letting his arms rest on his knees as his head drops. He continues. ==Blade "The Future" LaVigne==
Mom, I know your listening and I want you to know that, this match...is for you. I am bringing the Intercontinental Champion title home mom, and I want you to know, it will be all because of you....There is silence for a good minute before the speaking starts up again. But now, here in Thy WWE I have turned my whole career one hundred and eighty degrees around. I am on a new path now and changing my ways was the best decision I've ever made. No more is the LaVigne name looked down abound. I am doing great things and I will do something greater this weekend, when I take home the gold and take down another Knight of the Round-table.
Since coming to Thy WWE, I have defeated former world champions, ended careers and this is my second title match.
Second because my first ended with Joey the Bastard retaining his title and giving me my first loss. Since I came to Thy WWE, I have beaten the majority of the Knights and I almost took down Joey The Bastard and brought the intercontinental championship back home.
I fell inches short.
Joey the Bastard was the first...and will be the last man to defeat me.
That is a promise.
After that loss, I went back to the film room, I studied and studied that match and I looked for all the mistakes, all the mis-chances. I learned from that match and when I defeated Dan Hellman last week, I became the next contender at Joey The Bastard and come Oppression, I will be ready to defeat him and I will become the new Intercontinental champion and I will be one step closer to curing Thy WWE forever!Blade raises his head once again and looks into the camera, Blade is focused. ==Blade "The Future" LaVigne==
Over the past months, I've defeated guys like Jordan Turner, Travis Bishop. seven weeks ago, I ended the career of Mark Greenburg and then two week ago, I brought down a a former world champion, Profressor of Thuganomics. My time here in Thy WWE so far, I have brought down three out of the five Knights.
My up hill battle is not over and it shall continue this week. One step at a time and I will reach the top, no matter who stands in my way.
This week it just happens to be Joey the Bastard.
See, my goal is simple but yet complex . The objective itself will be an adventure of its own but I am not leaving Thy WWE until all the Knights are knocked off the ladder and I cure this company from all of it's negativity and hate. From all the superstars that just don't care nor put enough effort into their work. Guys like that don't deserve to be here. My message will be the same each week.
Thy is ill and Thy needs help.....
Thy needs me to win.....
Thy needs Blade LaVigne.....
Let me tell you something Bastard, nothing in my past weaken me, everything I went through in my life made me ten times stronger. Every time I fell down, I got right back up and every mistake I made, I learned from it and fixed the problem. You see Bastard, I am ready to take the next step. I am ready to finally reach the top of the ladder and I am ready to taste the gold. The time has come when I must take that final step over this hill. It's been a burden on my shoulder for the longest time.
The time has come where I will find myself jumping the hurdle and reaching the top of the ladder. The road ahead isn't clear but this week something is and that is me defeating you and becoming the newest Intercontinental Champion!
I will reach a step higher and a step closer on curing Thy WWE forever.
You all will thank me in the end! The scene ends with Blade smiling at the camera and ending it with a wink. The camera fades to pure black and a Thy WWE logo appears on the bottom of the screen.

Post by Joey The Bastard on May 27, 2013 23:26:48 GMT -5
{The scene opens up in a dark room. Joey the Bastard is seen sitting at a table with a lamp next to it...}
JTB: Blade, I bet you think you accomplished something on Raw last week when you embarrassed me in front of the world, don't you? You defaced one of my most prized possessions... My goblet. You probably think I'm pretty mad about that... I'll tell you truth. I was pretty pissed off about that. In fact, I was enraged... I wanted to kill you, Blade, but I had some time to think about it, and now I know that you did me a favor. You see, this...
{The Bastard leans down under the table and brings up his dented jewel encrusted goblet and places it on the table. It can't stand on it's own, and topples over...}
JTB: This jewel encrusted goblet of mine... It doesn't represent the power or the greatness that I've attained. No, it represents the past... It represents every thing that I've done in my life up until this exact point, and I'll be damned if I let my life... My career... My legacy as a professional wrestler to be defined by something so trivial as thing used to hold liquid... What I own does not determine that type of man who I am... It doesn't tell my story... It's what I do, and what I accomplish that determines who I am. I could have a castle, which I do, by the way... I could have all the money in the world, which I am pretty damn close to having, too... All of that means nothing...
{The Bastard holds the goblet up and stares at it while turning it in his fingers...}
JTB: What matters are things that I've done, but more importantly, what I will do in the future... Because, quite frankly, what I've done in the past doesn't matter that much either. Unlike you, Blade, I don't live in the then, I live in the now... Now, I'm the Intercontinental Champion... I'm a Tag Team Champion... The gold around my waist is just an ornament, it doesn't really need to be there... If I forgot the title belt on a bus, or it got lost at the airport, I would still be the champion... The world would still recognize me as the Thy WWE Intercontinental Champion, because that is the Title that I hold... Like Mister... Or Doctor... Or Sir...
{The Bastard places the goblet back on to the table...}
JTB: The world knows me as Joey the Bastard, Intercontinental Champion, and they will still know me like that after this Sunday... You've done me a service, Blade LaVigne, and for that... I thank you... But, it's not the end... Far from it. Thanks to you, this is only the beginning... This goblet represents the past, and it's time to move on...
{The Bastard bends down again, this time coming back up with a trash can. He holds up the jewel encrusted goblet and drops it inside...}
JTB: Blade, we come from some what similar pasts, but we are extremely different people... We both had hard ships coming up in this business, but I look passed that... You remain focused on what happened then, and what could have been... I focus on what can happen, and what will happen... SCW this, and SCW that... Nobody cares about any of that anymore... It died for a reason, and every body that came from there is a has been... Except for you, Blade... You're an SCW has been like all the others... It's sad to say, but you're a never was... You're a never will be, Blade, and I know it hurts to hear this, but you just don't have what it takes to break through that glass ceiling that the Knights are standing high upon... You can see us, you can hear us, but you can't touch us... Like me once, you're clawing and scratching, trying to shatter the glass and get to that top level... But unlike me, you continue to focus on what has made you fail time and time again... You will continue to scratch and claw, and you'll leave marks, but you will never break the glass... Because the glass that the Knights stand upon in ten feet thick... You're gonna need a God damn cannon to break through this glass... And I don't think you have one in your armory... The Knights? We have a whole army! We have legions of followers... The people tune in to us... Not you... US! Thy WWE has been dominated by the Knights of the Round Table for over a year now, and if you're the best thing that Vince McMahon can throw at us, things will not be changing around here for a long time, Blade...
{The Bastard leans on the table on both elbows.}
JTB: Thank you for what exactly? Wasting television time? Being filler on a card dominated by Knights? No, nobody will be thanking you for anything... You'll put up a fight, I know that for a fact... You took me to the limit last time, and I now know that you knows how it feels to lose... When it's all on the line... When it's all on the table... I learned that feeling a long time ago, and now you know that feeling, too... Learning how to lose makes us better, so I'm going in to this match on Sunday knowing... Expecting... You to bring your best... You'll bring the biggest challenge that I'll have faced as the champion, but it won't be enough... It's a challenge that I will over come, and after all is said and done, I'll move on to my next challenge, and you will stay under that glass ceiling... Floundering in mediocrity desperately trying to be something that you're not... Great... A Champion... The absolute best! I am all of those things that you wish that you were and then some... I'm better! I'm also all of things that you will never become... No, I won't be doing any thanking of you, Blade LaVigne... In fact, after I show you what you truly are in the business... It will be YOU thanking ME...
In the end.
{The scene fades as The Bastard gets up and walks out of the shot. The camera stays focused on the trash can on the table containing the past... It's time to look towards the future...}
************************************************
A young servant ran down the halls of the castle. He looked be in quite a hurry. What he had to say was very important. He moved fast, but clumsily. This was more important than his own safety. His hip collided with an end table with a vase on top that fell to the floor and shattered. He glanced back briefly, but the vase didn't matter. He wouldn't be around long enough to suffer any consequence.
The servant reached a dead end and a stone wall. A candle holder on the wall jutted out, and he grabbed hold of it and turned. The wall slowly started to rumble and began to move. He heard a scream from somewhere behind him in the castle.
They were coming.
They were close.
The wall was out of the way and the servant started to run down the circling stone steps. He heard a loud BOOM! from behind him and fear shot through his spine. It made him move faster. He started to take the steps two at a time. Then three at a time.
He had to get to the King. He had too let him know...
But the King already knew, he was sure of it. The siege had begun.
The servant hit the floor with the side of his face with a hard thud. He had lost his footing on the last few steps in his urgent bounding down the staircase. But, he didn't feel a thing. He tasted blood in his mouth, but the adrenaline coursing through out his body masked the pain. In fact, the sudden shock of his face hitting stone sent an even higher sense of urgency through his mind.
The servant got to his feet a mere couple of seconds after hitting the floor. Almost as if the fall was part of his normal routine. Run, walk, fall down, all part of his day.
He reached the large wooden double door that led to the King's Court and started to pound. He pounded and pounded but there no sign of any one inside. He pounded until his fists started to hurt, yet still there was no response.
They had beat him here. But how?
Suddenly, the door opened. King Arthur's aide looked at the servant with fear in his eyes...
BOOM!
"I have an urgent message for the King" the servant cried as he pushed the aide aside and entered the Court.
King Arthur was sitting in his throne, blade drawn, and battle ready. Merlin stood by his side.
"Sire, they're coming! They're almost here! There's nobody to stop them. They have the guards on their side..." The servant, no older then twenty one was gasping for air.
"Ah, the day has finally come" King Arthur said. He said it with such calmness that the servant became almost hysterical.
"What do we do, my lord?" the servant was almost begging the King for guidance.
"We wait."
"They're going to take the castle!"
"That they will. There is nothing that we can do, dear boy." The King was soothing now. "Do not fear, boy. The leader will not harm you. Merlin, I'm afraid that our time of rule here in Camelot as come to an end."
"We have to fight, Arthur" Merlin said.
"If we fight, we will fail. They have my whole army turned against me. If we resist, we will surely perish." The King was a man of intelligence, honor, and bravery, but he knew when to fight, and when not to. This was not a time to fight, and he was sure of that.
BOOM!
The bangs were louder now. The screams were getting closer. King Arthur, Merlin, and the servant stared at the door. The boy was terrified. Merlin was uneasy, glancing at Arthur every couple of seconds looking for any sign of instruction. The sign never came as King Arthur kept his attention on the large wooden double doors.
BOOM!
One last scream before a loud banging started on the door.
Boom-boom-boomboomboom!
"Knock, knock" v muffled voice outside the door would be heard. "Little pigs, little pigs, let us in!"
The bellows of multiple men echoed through out the castle. Then the door opened. Armored men burst in to the room, swords drawn. The immediately cornered the servant and took him to the ground, keeping him there with threats of violence. More guards poured in to the Court. King Arthur stared at them, but gave one last glance down at the Round Table as if to give it a farewell.
The guards surrounded the King and put their swords up to his and Merlin's throats. They did not try to fight. They did not resist. The numbers were too great. The room fell silent as King Arthur continued to stare at the open door way. He heard foot steps approaching. Not just one man, but two sets of foot steps. Large boots clipped and clopped on the stone floor...
Clip-clip-clop-clop...
The King held his stare on the door way then he shouted out...
"Get this over with!"
Two men emerged from the shadows of the darkened doorway. They were Knights. They were King Arthur's Knights. They were Beno and Joey the Bastard.
Beno entered the room first. He looked around the room at his loyal subjects. His demeanor demanded respect and compliance from all those around him. The bastard entered next with a smirk on his face. He didn't look around the room, and his smirk faded as he stared at the Round Table. Nothing else in that room mattered except for that Round Table. The Bastard approached and the Table gleamed with the reflections of the torches and candles around the room.
"Good evening, my King" Beno greeted the King with poison on his tongue. "Expecting us, were you?"
"I had hoped this day would never come" Arthur said. "But the Oracle made it clear to me that is was inevitable."
The Bastard heard Arthur's voice, and snapped out of his trance induced by the Round Table. He turned to King Arthur.
"SILENCE!" The Bastard screamed as he approached Arthur.
"SILENCE! SILENCE! SILENCE!" The Bastard screamed in King Arthur's face. "HOW DOES IT FEEL? HUH?"
King Arthur just stares forward, not looking at The Bastard. Joey then back hands the King right across the face. The guards chuckle as The Bastard grabs Arthur by the throat.
"Yeah, you're God damn fuckin' right, you got nothing to say to me!" The Bastard shoved Arthur out of the throne and to the floor then he kicked him in the ribs. King Arthur showed no sign of discomfort. He wouldn't give The Bastard the satisfaction.
Joey walked over to the Round Table and caressed it. He draped his body on top of it as if to give it a hug.
"I told you this table was gonna be mine, Artie." The Bastard said contrarily. "You should have believed me."
"Ours." Beno corrected The Bastard.
"Oh yeah" The Bastard fumbled with his words. "Yeah, yeah, yeah... You're right, Beens... That what I meant to say... Ours!"
The Bastard started laughing and booted Arthur in the gut once more. Then he looked over at Merlin and socked him right in the face.
"Smoke and mirrors, old man. Smoke and mirrors!" The Bastard said as he turned his attention back to Arthur. Joey continued to kick Arthur hard in the side no doubt cracking a few ribs.
"Joseph, that's enough!" Beno called out. Maybe he felt some form of compassion for the King. "I want him alive. I want him as a trophy..." Maybe not...
The Bastard looked up at Beno and smiled, nodding his head. He let Arthur begin to get back up then booted him back down again with one last kick. Arthur gasped for air for the first time, and Joey's eyes lit up.
"You're lucky Beno's so gracious as to spare you, Artie" The bastard said while looking down at Arthur. "You should thank him."
King Arthur just stared at The Bastard. The Bastard's eyes filled with rage as he stomped Arthur square in the face.
"You heard me, thank Beno!" he screamed.
Arthur's mouth was full of blood as he spat some up at The Bastard. Joey did't take kindly to this as he grabbed Merlin while pulling a dagger out from his belt. He put the dagger up to Merlin's throat.
"Thank him, or he dies!"
King Arthur stared at The Bastard then looked at Merlin. Merlin had a look on his face that read, "Don't do it" but Arthur would spare his closest friend. He looked at Beno, and said...
"Thank..."
"SILENCE!" The bastard screamed as he dropped Merlin safely to the ground and ran up and punted Arthur in the temple. The Bastard giggled like a mad man as he danced around Arthur. Then he grabbed the crown from Arthur's head. "YOINK!" he said as he tossed the crown to Beno.
"Here ya go!"
Beno held the crown in his hands, while admiring the crown. Then he put in on. Instantly, the guards bowed to Beno. Beno then moved toward the throne and sat down on it. The Bastard laughed like a hyena.
"Guards" Beno bellowed. "Take the former King to his new home. The dungeon... As for you, Merlin... You are here by banished from Camelot. Never show your face in my kingdom again. For, if you do, it will be punishable by death!"
The guards grab Merlin and drag him out of the room. Joey is over by the Table, running his hand across it's surface. Arthur is brought to his feet by the guards and speaks directly to The Bastard.
"It will consume you, Sir Bastard." Arthur said, speaking of Round Table. "It almost did to me. Trust me, you are not nearly powerful enough to fight it off. Heeds my words... It will consume you!"
The Bastard stared in to the reflection on the Table's surface. He saw himself, but a distorted version of himself. He shook his head, screaming.
"NO! NO! SHUT UP! IT'S MINE! THE TABLE IS MINE! TAKE HIM AWAY!"
The guards obeyed as The Bastard sat down at the table. He reached in to one of the pockets on his robe and pulled out a beer. He opened it with a Crack and a Hiss and chugged it back. Then he slammed the can down hard on the surface of the Round Table, causing a small dent.
"Ours." Beno said again.
"Yeah." The Bastard said. "That's what I meant to say..."
"Find me the Knight's Charges, Sir Bastard."
"Sure thing. Why exactly do we need those?"
"So I can burn them..."
********************************************
{The opens up in the back stage area of the Super Dome in New Orleans for Oppression. Joey the Bastard is standing by at the interview area alone. He his holding the IC Title on his shoulder as he begins to speak...}
JTB: You all say I'm a bad guy... You say I'm the villain... And you know what? You're God damn right... I'm corrupt, I'm a down right and dirty bastard... I'm, over all, a horrible human being, and that's what sets me apart from all the others in Thy WWE. Sure, sometimes, they'll put their black suits on and act bad... Act evil... Well, I'm not acting! This company needs some body like me to keep the ball rolling, but unlike all the Hollywood movies, and all of your fairy tales, the bad guy in the real world will always prevail...
Blade LaVinge, or as I like to call him... Blade LaVagine... He says he's here to save thy WWE from the likes of me... What a fucking joke... He tried once, and came close... But was it all really that close? Not last time, and this time... The only thing that is gonna be close is how close Blade LaVagine's heart comes to outright stopping!
You NEED to win this match? Thy WWE NEEDS you to beat me? Well, listen up, son... I WILL win this match... Thy WWE WILL witness first hand as I beat you down in the middle of the Knight's ring and pin you for the one... two... three... And we're supposed to thank you in the end, you say? Well, nobody is gonna be thanking you after tonight, Blade, because tonight... Is that end that you keep talking about! THE END! The end of your journey, the end of your hype, and the end of your claims to my Intercontinental Championship! Welcome to the end, Blade... You've brought all of this upon yourself!
See, you could've just been content in swimming with the guppies in the pond, but you had to open your mouth about how you're gonna take out the Knights. At first, we didn't even notice nor care about you. But then you started to gain momentum, and actually earned a shot at us. You beat a few of us, but those were flukes, Blade... You're a fluke, and tonight is the night that everybody finds that out. This is PAY PER VIEW! The world is watching, Blade... You think I'm gonna treat this like some house show, or an edition of Thy WWE Live? Hell no... I've earned the right to be here by being the best of the best... You can't beat me! NOBODY CAN BEAT ME! I'M THE MOST HARDCORE SONOVABITCH IN THE GOD DAMN WORLD! I'm a fucking killer whale swimming in an ocean of guppies, and it's about damn time I flushed you down the toilet and in to the shit filled sewer where you belong!
How dare you even think that you have a chance of beating me! How dare you think that deserve to be in the same fucking country as me! I am unstoppable! I AM A BEAST! And, just like last time we faced for the title, even before the bell is rung... I am the winner... And I always will be! The time has come to face your end, Blade Lavigne, and guess what... You don't like me...
But you will...
Bite me...
In the end...
{The Bastard shows the world a sneer before he storms off to go face to face with the his biggest challenge yet...}
