Biography:
Carter was born unto a bipolar mother and a highly pressurizing father. His childhood was a very confusing and unhappy one, which was made worse by his underlying condition of psychopathy. His condition meant that Michael never comprehended the feelings of those around him, so he didn’t make any friends growing up. This was detrimental to his development as he never had any ways to escape the harmful environment in his home, where his mother wouldn’t provide him with the love and care he required and his father would force him to work and study “for the future”. The combination of these factors meant that Michael closed himself off from his parents and began to feel a deep seeded resentment for society.
Following his graduation from the education system which saw him severely bullied and isolated, Michael began to work for his father’s firm on Wall Street and made an impressive reputation for himself. As he met other businessmen and operated in the heart of New York City, Michael started to become at ease within a crowd and turned his condition from a handicap into an advantage. Using his lack of remorse and sadistic nature, Michael became an inter-species predator and ascended the corporate ladder at a remarkable rate. The confused and angry boy who had been stepped on by the world had completed his development into a callous businessmen whose lack of empathy meant he had no inhibitions when it came to deal making, firing and backstabbing. The fragile boy had ossified into a highly functioning psychopath who started to rise into notoriety.
Once Michael had ascended to a position of considerable power in his fathers firm, he realised that his father was no longer of any use to him. He had gone as far as he could go by being the son of the boss and knew that so long as his fathers heart was beating, he would be held back from being the head of the company. So Michael bided his time and drew up a plan. Michael had tracked a possible murder in the newspapers which involved a young man being burned to death in his inner city apartment. In the dead of the night roughly a week later, Michael burned an innocent homeless man to death on the pavement; causing the police to believe that they had a serial killer on their hands. Michael used this to his advantage and planned out the perfect murder. He carried out his plans to a tee and sealed his father inside of their garden shed and burned it to the ground. While the shed burned, he killed his mother with a shovel from the shed and moved on to the final stage. While wearing a thick jumper to make it appear like he was lucky, Michael threw a searing hot pot of water and spaghetti over his chest and beat himself over the head with the same shovel he used on his mother, taking care to make the angles which he was hit consistent with a head on attacker. Once police arrived his alibi was believed and he inherited both the family fortunes and his fathers business.
Unfortunately, Michael’s disorder meant that he soon became bored of being in control of his father’s firm and started to look for new ways to pique his interest and relive the thrilling feeling of control and domination which he experienced as he orchestrated the killings which led to him inheriting his family’s wealth. Michael soon started to take diphenhydramine for its hallucinogenic effects among other things and although it stimulated his senses, it didn’t fill the void of boredom within. Michael desired power and new experiences, so he started to allow his sadistic side to show through as he broke social norms in the office and berated workers for no reason. Soon his outbursts became physical and on the advice of a lawyer and personal associates, Michael stepped down as chairman of the company amidst claims of assault, besmirching his name in the process.
Michael easily had enough funds to live out the rest of his life lavishly and comfortably, but he knew that he couldn’t lay low for the rest of his life, so when Austin Starr contacted him with the opportunity to come into Thy WWE as a villain for fans to hate, he couldn’t turn him down. Carter is unstable, unrestrained by empathy or emotion and is extremely dangerous, with a primal desire to prey on his fellow man to evoke feelings of contentment and dominance without considering what the implications are for the victim. Citizen-X is one of Thy WWE’s most volatile wrestlers and has an eye for gold and a willingness to plough through any opposition, no matter who it is and what the consequences may be.
