“Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved. Every thing you do in life, no matter how great or how small, will effect your destiny. At least that’s how it is for most people, but for some, destiny is a direct outcome.”
A Wise Man Will Make More Opportunities Than He Finds
As I got out of my taxi and grabbed my bags, I kept looking own at my watch to see how much time I have before my first match in Thy WWE. It was about 4:30 and I knew my match was just in a couple of hours. I couldn’t have been more nervous in my life.
After my taxi drove away, I stopped and laid eyes on one of the biggest arenas I’ve ever seen: The Ford Field. As I looked for the wrestlers entrance, I came across a few fans and signed a couple of autographs. As I expected, nobody knew who I was, but I knew that was coming.
I finally made my way inside the arena. As I walked the halls of Ford Field, I was just amazed at the murals that were created of the Detroit Lions logo, which was the football team that currently called the Ford Field home.
On each door, there was a gold plate that said the superstars name. I passed the names of some of Raw’s best, such as the Undertaker or Rey Mysterio. All I could feel was pride as I knew it was a gift from God that I was in Thy WWE and was competing with some of the best in the world.
Finally, I came up to a locker room with my name on it. It big bold, gold letters I read out loud, “Cody Dementium.” I was proud. Not many people actually take pride in seeing their name written on a door, but I’m different. I knew that in this economy, I was lucky to even have a job. I cracked open the door a bit, but, to my surprise, the light was on. I opened the door more until it was finally open all the way. Now, a man was visible, but it wasn’t JUST a man, it was my best friend.

Ryan Apollos? How the hell are you?
Ryan Apollos was my best friend and greatly gave me the opportunity in Thy WWE. As many people didn’t know, before I got offered a contract in Thy WWE, I was jobless. I had just come home from Iraq as my service in the US Army was done. I was a thirty two year-old man and had been serving in the military for the past three years, but now my service was up and I looked for a career in pro wrestling. Ever since I was a little boy, I wanted to be a wrestler and finally I had gotten my time.
Ryan Apollos, on the other hand, had wrestled all of his life. He was about four years older than me, and had wrestled about ten of his thirty six years living. Unfortunately, his wrestling career ended tragically, as he broke four disks in his back and couldn’t move as well in the ring. Ryan loved wrestling too much, just to give it up all together, so he began to work in personal and eventually, he became my manager.
Ryan Apollos || The Legend Slayer
I’m doing great, thank you… Cody, man, I’ve talked to you on the phone, but haven’t seen you for years. How are you doing?
One of the downsides to being a professional wrestler or a professional anything is the travel. You traveled about 350 days a year. Ryan Apollos had been traveling throughout the world looking for jobs as he had spent time in ROH, NJPW, and PWG working as a match writer or a stagehand and had loved what he was doing.
Luckily for me, I was a single man, yes I know, I can bang chicks all the time, so becoming a wrestler and the travel restrictions didn’t really put too much of an effect on me.
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Wow. I never thought I’d see you again. I’m doing great man. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to work in Thy WWE.
Ryan Apollos is responsible for giving my work in Thy WWE. About two weeks ago, I got a text from him saying that his new company he was apart of was looking for work and thought I’d do great. Of course, I was game from the beginning. Apollos put off all the other work, just to become my trainer, and manager.
Ryan Apollos || The Legend Slayer
Anytime, Cody.
Apollos let out a deep sigh which went one of two things, he wanted to go to the club to get laid or he needed to talk business. Of course I was hoping he wanted to go to the club so WE can get laid.
Ryan Apollos || The Legend Slayer
Cody, we have to put the soft stuff aside. Tonight, you have a match. It’s not just a match Cody and that’s something you, a rookie, has to understand. You’re at such a disadvantage being a rookie in this match since you’re going up against Shawn Michaels.
By the looks of it, I’m not getting laid tonight.
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Yeah, I know. I actually am a bit nervous about tonight. Tonight, I have my first match ever, that will be broadcasted to the millions of die hard Thy WWE fans. I also have an interview to go to in about fifteen minutes which will be shown to all the 45,000 people in attendance as well.
Ryan Apollos || The Legend Slayer
Well, the wrestling business is like snagging a porn star. Sometimes you get lucky and you pull out something big, but other times you can it takes forever to come to the conclusion.
Ryan Apollos always had his way with words. I cracked a smile and let out a bit of a chuckle. All of his analogies were either compared to sex or…sex.
Ryan Apollos || The Legend Slayer
What I’m saying is, tonight, not only tonight, but in all of your matches, you have to dig deep. Tonight especially, you have a clean slate and everyone backstage will be taking notes on you. The McMahon family, just like everyone else has never seen you compete before, so you need to show them something special; you need to show them something they have seen never before.
Ryan was not only my manager, not only my best friend, but he was a teacher. He trained wrestling students and made everything so easy to understand.
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Ryan, tonight, I will put on a show. Tonight, HBK, will have no option, but to tap out. Get ready we got an interview to do.
Yeah, I honestly doubted myself winning, but I had to prove to Ryan Apollos that I belonged here, so I had to say something catchy. My interview was in a view minutes, so I quickly changed into my United States T-Shirt and just put on my wrestling tights. Once I was finished, I walked outside to see Todd Grisham who had just set everything up.
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
Cody, we’re ready. Let’s start this interview.
I walked over to where the cameramen wanted me. He made sure that there was enough light and there was enough room to get both myself and the dweeb in the shot. I knew I had to sound cocky as that is what my persona was, so I began the interview with a smirk on my face. 5,4,3,2,1 and the cameraman pointed at Grisham to signify we should start.
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
Ladies and gentlemen, good evening. I’m Todd Grisham and standing with me at this time is Thy WWE’s debutant, Cody Dementium!
I smiled proudly.
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
Cody, introduce yourself to everyone watching this.
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Well, my name is Cody Dementium, and I’m Thy WWE’s newest superstar. Prior to my Thy WWE tenure, I was in the United States army and take great pride in wearing this United States of American t-shirt I am wearing right now. I was in the US Military for about three years and loved every second of it. The one thing that made me want to become part of the military was my dad. My dad raised me and I was a farm boy. I had to work from the sunrise to the sunset and every day, my daddy talked about the United States and how great it was to be a part of it. My childhood dream was, apart from being in the US army, was to become a professional wrestler and, well look, both dreams have come true.
Yes I was in the military but the reason I said, was the biggest bullshit of all-time. My dad wasn’t even from the USA, but hey? What do the fans need to know? What stays in my mind, stays in my mind.
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
Interesting story Cody. Now, you talked about being in the military for the last four years. Does this mean you have never wrestled before?
Oh shit, what have I gotten myself into. I wanted to hide that fact. Thanks Todd!
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Well Todd, yes and no. No, because I have never wrestled a professional wrestling match in my life, but I did wrestle some of the livestock on the farm when I was younger. When we had to wrap up the pigs, yeah, I wrestled those dirty bacon producing animals right to the ground.
Wow, I never realized how good my southern accent was! Apart from the part that I’ve never wrestled a match in my life, the rest was BS, but again, the fans only know what comes out of my mouth.
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
Does this put you at a disadvantage?
Yes.
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Is it a weakness and something that could effect me down the road? Yes. Is it a disadvantage? I wouldn’t call it that. I mean, when I was in the military, we had intense training program. It was some sort of MMA type of training where we used all the grappling moves and submission moves the MMA stars use. Like I said Todd, I wouldn’t call it a disadvantage, just something that my opponent can exploit, and yes, it may seem very apparent sometimes that I am a rookie. Sometimes a rookie can go a long way, right?
Now that I remember that MMA training, that was some tough shit.
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
I think a lot of fans are wondering is how and why did you come to Thy WWE?
It’s all about that money, money, yeah, yeah.
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Well Todd, about a couple weeks ago, I got a call from one of my best friend and a former wrestler, Ryan Apollos. I needed work and I thought a professional wrestling career was great, seeing as how I wanted to become one for most of my life. Of course, as soon as he said that Thy WWE needed some new wrestlers I was all for it. I’ve met some of the wrestling greats: The Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, Shawn Michaels. It’s just been a surreal past week for me.
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
What does being apart of Thy WWE mean to you?
It means I have money.
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Well, being apart of Thy WWE means a lot to me. I have to make more opportunities than I find and I think in Thy WWE I not only will be handed opportunities, but will find opportunities. What I mean is I may be handed matches to wrestle, but I will find out how to inflict pain on my opponent, so that I impress, whether it be Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon or that girl I f*cked yesterday night.
Ryan’s words were coming off on me. Sex, Lies and Headlocks.
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
Well, this week, you’re going up against another Thy WWE debutant and future Hall of Famer, Shawn Michaels.
I’m just a sexy boy.
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Well Shawn, I believe that it was just about fifteen years ago when you said your infamous line, “I did not sleep with that young intern…I was up all night.” That was you, right? Well, how would you feel if Ms. Rebecca Hickenbottom knew that you were staying up all night with young intern. I believe that she would knock you out onto the street where your washed up ass belongs. Yes, you can beat me and everyone knows it. We all know you can, but will you?
Wow. I am awesome.
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
Shawn is a three time world champion in World Wrestling Entertainment. How can you cope with going up against a man this good?
I can’t.
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
A man this good? Well, how good is he? They say you’re only as good as your last match, right? Well, let’s look back at his last five matches. Yes, they might not be in Thy WWE, but they were wrestler matches. Loss, loss, loss, loss, and win. Yes, that win was only by DQ. So tell me the truth Todd, how good is Shawn Michaels if he hasn’t won a match by pinfall in over two months? How good is that?
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
Slammy Award for Match of the Year in 2009? That’s not good enough for you Cody?
Damn, I wish I had a slammy.
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Match of the year with whom? That’s right, the Thy WWE World Champion, the Undertaker. I, just like all the other new breed, say that the Undertaker and Shawn Michaels should go back to the retirement home. I don’t care if HBK stops the show, no, let me go back. I think it’s funny how he’s known as HBK, the Heart-Break Kid? Tell me, is he really a kid? They say forty is the new twenty, but Shawn, you’re 44 and I don’t think that is the new age where you’re a kid. Shawn, be honest, look yourself in the mirror and move on, because clearly it isn’t your time anymore, so why don’t you move your ass out?
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
You sound pretty confident for someone who has never wrestled a match.
Wow, this guy deserves a Guillotine for thirty minutes straight.
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
That is coming from the same person who has never had enough balls to wrestle in the ring. I mean, Todd, I think I have a right to be confident. I’m young, I’m strong and I’m arrogant.
Yes, my arrogance is personified.
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Yes, I may be biting off more than I can chew, but hey, I can’t go wrong in this match. I don’t care if I win or loss, just as long as I inflict pain on everyone. I am going to destroy everyone, one person at a time. This week, Heart-Break Old Fart, next week Rey Mysterio and the week after, the Undertaker. I guarantee, in one month, one month only, I, Cody Dementium, will be champion.
Did I just say, what I think I said?
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
DX made the tag team division what it is today and like many people know, if not everyone knows, HBK was at one time the leader of DX. How can that be bad Cody?
Are you Ready?!
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Ah, yes, the Degenerates. The old washed up men, who want to parade around like they’re five. Is that cool these days? Seeing two old guys, acting like the ShamWow guy trying to promote everything that has their name on it? Is that cool? Do people think it’s cool to run around with crossing your arms by your crocth yelling suck it? I mean, yeah, I love sex just as much as the next guy, but am I as desperate as Triple H and Shawn Michaels? I think now. Shawn Michaels especially needs a whole bottle of Viagra just to get up every morning, but then he is a degenerate, remember?
Wow.
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
Honestly, you’re making an impression on me already, and it’s not a good one.
Remember, my arrogance is personified!
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Like I give a rats ass? I don’t care if you like me, I don’t care if he likes me, I don’t care if she likes me. All I know is that Vinny Mac likes me and he signs not only my pay check, but everyone’s paychceck. As long as he likes me, that’s all I’m worried about right now. I’m not worried about what my record is or how many titles I’ve held, but if the boss likes me and I get paid, that’s all that matters.
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
I’m pretty sure that this is leaving a bad impression on him as well.
Does this guy ever shut up?
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Yeah, this would leave a bad impression on him, yet he likes John Cena? Sometimes Josh, I really don’t know if you have a brain, but did you hear the news? Shawn Micheaels is taking me lightly. I think Michaels has more balls than brain cells. Todd, that means there is someone as stupid as you.
I laugh.
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
Well, I have a few more questions to ask you. Honestly, if HBK is taking you lightly then he must know what he is doing. He’s been in this business-
I cut him off.
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
I’ll finish that for you. Shawn Michaels has been in this business for…too long! He’s the sexy boy, right? Well, here is a little fun fact: Shawn Michaels has posed for Playgirl magazine, that’s right? I don’t think Shawn IS a sexy boy, but is looking for other sexy men, because I’m sure that Playgirl is for the homosexuals in the world. Shawn is that why you posed for Playgirl, to get that “sexy boy” you need?
Wow, did I just say that again?
Todd Grisham || The Guy who interviews people
Well, this interview has gotten personal, so we’ll finish it off with this. What’s the one thing you think that Shawn has the advantage in?
Uh, everything?
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Uh, number of tattoos? He has several tattoos. One being Cameron. Ironically, that is the name of his son, but that is the name of the first ever openly homosexual to subscribe to Playgirl magazine. That’s a little ironic? Is it irony? Is it coincidence? Or is that how it was suppose to be?
I lick my lips, I’ve said too much.
Cody Dementium || American Arrogance
Well Shawn, it only an hour, our match will begin. I’ll let you go look through some of your old magazines and you can run around back here with that little tranny of yours, Natalya, because, I, on the other hand, have a match to win. Oh yeah, you better bring it all, because you have two options: Tap or Snap.
I have a match to win…

OOC- I think it's about 3.7k words or something. Ok, so the things written in black, is what is going on in Cody Dementium's head and nobody knows about that, but him, so nobody should RP about what is in black. FEEDBACK IS GREAT!!!! If 1st Person rps shouldn't be in e-feds, then I won't do them anymore.
