RP Deadline: 22 July 2012 (when the clock expires)
RP Limit: One
---
Ascension was an incredible night, we seen two new champions get crowned along with a hard fought war from Barton to win the Rumble. Now the path to Wrestlemania is at hand, the next several weeks are generally the most exciting, where anything can and usually does happen. Keep tuned in, it's gonna be great.
---
Match 1: Brian Gunn vs Teatly
(Thy WWE Television Title Match)
Management set a mandate that custom championships would not be recognized on television, but that has not stopped Gunn, the rulebreaker that he is, from intentionally defacing the Television Title and re-branding it the Excalibur Championship. Perhaps this is a pairing meant to humble Gunn, or maybe humiliate him by giving him second rate competition. Guess nobody will really know for sure. Either way though, it's the chance of a lifetime for Teatly.
Match 2: Ryback vs Mascara de la Muerte
Two of Thy WWE's newcomers get a chance here to make a name for themselves on the big stage. Only one can propel himself up the ranks, who is it going to be?
Match 3: Bret Hart vs. John Morrison
Bret Hart has targeted POT for being the one who caused him to miss ringtime. Management has given Hart a returning John Morrison to work out some of his frustration against. Won't be an easy task though as Morrison has proven to be rather impressive as of late. Either way you look at it though, it should be a damn good match.
Match 4: Stalker Knight vs. Anger
We're hearing buzzings of some kind of confrontation that took place backstage between Stalker Knight and Anger of the Knights. Details are scarce at the moment, but it looks whatever issue the two of them had. Management has given them the chance to settle it in the ring, like the competitors that they are. The IC Title is not on the line in this match, but that doesn't take anything away from the fact that I'm sure the both of them are going to give it their all.
Match 5: Jamie Moorefield vs CM Punk
The Rumble runner up goes head to head with the man he threw out of the rumble. Jamie Moorefield returns to RAW to face off in a epic battle between the Straight Edge superstar. Who will walk out the winner and a step closer to the top of the ladder?
Main Event: “The Saviour” Jacob Senn vs P.O.T.
(Winner faces the champion next week)
What a fitting way to really kick off the new era with a bang by seeing two men who really just couldn't break the glass ceiling in Senn and POT get another chance to cross paths and compete against each other once more. This time though the winner gets a chance to face newly crowned World Champion K. Orton. Orton instantly made himself a star by being the only man able to defeat Alex Kendall.
An Announcement from General Manager Starr
After defeating Caitlin Callihan at Ascension, General Manager Starr has vowed to once again focus completely on the business side of things. Starting with this announcement that he promises will dramatically affect Thy WWE as a whole. What could it be? A potential re-branding? A power shift? Your guess is as good as mine.
General Manager Walker announces his WM 3 opponent.
We all remember General Manager Walker telling the world he wanted one more match on the grandest stage of them all. I guess Ken has finally decided on his opponent and he has promised to make it known to the world. Whomever Ken chooses, I'm sure the two of them are going to put on one final match that will give a legend such as Ken the send off he deserves.
The future of Alex Kendall?
The world was shocked when K. Orton did what other greats could not do and defeat Alex Kendall at Ascension, ending his undefeated streak and reign as champion. Now the question is, what does he do next? What is he going to set his sights on, now that he can no longer refer to himself as "the best in the world". We find out this week on Raw...
