Challenge made, challenge accepted, a vendetta finally gets puts to rest. The wrestling world and blog-o-spheres have been buzzing since last week where we seen General Manager Starr return, reveal Caitlin Callihan as his attacker and then in a surprising moment, actually be challenged by Caitlin to a match at Ascension to finally put these matters to rest once and for all. Just off that card, the World Title announcement to be delivered tonight, and the Ascension Rumble itself, the PPV looks like it's going to be one for the ages.
---
MONDAY NIGHT RAW
We kick off the show right away with a quick glance of the three man announce team at ringside before going to the ring for our first match of the evening.
Match 1: Melina Perez vs. Layla vs. Demmi Mae
Winner: Demmi Mae
The show then goes to a commercial break.
(((OOC NOTE: It looks like our divas curse continues, I apologize Demmi, you have proven yourself to be consistent week in and week out, you deserve better then this...but we just can't seem to keep a divas division afloat. I seen the apology by McCool/Melina, citing internet troubles. Shit happens, I just wish she could have shown...give Demmi somebody to compete against. And Layla...I don't know where she went....which blows)))

RETURN FROM BREAK
Returning from the break we can see General Manager Walker on the phone talking to somebody.
General Manager Walker: I make the announcement tonight and then next week you return live, are you ready?
--Listening--
General Manager Walker: Good, good. Ascension just got that much bigger, see you next week man.
With a click we see General Manager Walker hang the phone up and rub his hands together with a smile as the shot goes back to ringside.
Don Chuckles: I wonder who General Manager Walker is going to announce tonight as Alex Kendall's opponent for Ascension?
Julian Chichy: It's The Undertaker, I know already.
Phil Latio: Really?
Don and Phil look at Julian with an exasperated display of mockery and amusement as the shot goes back to ringside for the nights next match of the evening.
Match 2: Gregory Iron vs. John Cena vs. Eric Draven
After the three respective ring entrances we see the Three men stare off at each other Gregory Iron, John Cena, and Eric Draven each in there perspective corner. As the bell rings, John Cena runs towards Eric draven with a spear smashing him into the turnbuck as Eric Draven side steps and lets John do a few spears to Eric Draven. John Cena turns around and is greeted by Gregory Iron toe kicks him into the gut and plants him with a DDT. Eric Draven comes out of the turn buckle and tackles Gregory Iron and forces him from to the ground and mounts him for punches. Meanwhile John Cena gets up and greets Eric draven for a punch to the face, a second, third, fourth punch follows. Then a big clothesline. John Cena does the 5 Knuckle shuffle and plans his fist on Gregory Iron. Eric Draven starts to get up but still staggers into John Cena and walk right into John Cean and is greeted by a F-U and plants him into the mat. Gregory Iron gets up and staggers into John Cena and John takes him and tosses him outside the rig and goes for the pin fall on Eric Draven...
1...2....3
Winner: John Cena
Don Chuckles: Impressive first win here for John Cena in Thy WWE.
Phil Latio: The sky is the limit for him.
Cena rolls out of the ring and heads up the ramp celebrating as the show goes to a commercial break.

RETURN FROM BREAK
Match 3: Michael Shane vs. Paul Wight
After both entrances, we see Michael Shane and tag champ Paul Wight lock up in the middle of the ring. For a minute, there's a struggle, then Michael shoves the Giant to the mat. Paul rolls up onto his feet and rushes in again. Shane pushes him down again. Again, Paul gets to his feet. This time, Shane goes for a leveling clothesline, but Paul dodges it, rebounding off the rope with a flying forearm, and Shane goes down.
Phil Latio: Paul takes Michael Shane off his feet. My bet is on Paul Wight tonight.
Don Chuckles: The match is young, Phil
Paul is right up, putting the boots to Michael. After about four or five of them, Paul catches Michael's foot and rolls him to the mat. The momentum carries Michael to his feet, and he lifts Paul off the canvas by his leg, smashing his knee down, hard. Paul writhes in pain. As Paul lies on the mat, Michael drops a knee into his back. Then another. Then another. He rolls him over onto his back.
Don Chuckels: John with a cover-
1 ...
KICKOUT.
Michael , not wanting to lose momentum, comes toward Paul again, but Paul grabs the front of his pants and pulls him into the turnbuckle, face first. Michael recoils and falls to the mat. Paul rolls to the outside to catch a breather. Outside, one of the fans starts talking shit, and Paul turns to tell him off, never seeing Michael come in with a baseball slide. Michael slides out after Paul and bounces his head off the announcer table. He goes for it a second time, but Paul gets a hand down and bounces Michael 's head off the announce table instead. Michael bounces back and Paul whips him into the ring stairs. Paul slides back into the ring.

Paul is irate as He goes over, getting in the ref's face, and the ref threatens to disqualify him if he doesn't knock it off. Paul gives up and turns around right into a right hand from Michael .
Phil Latio: The champ's back up.
Michael with another right hand. Michael with a knee to the gut. Michael with a clubbing blow to Paul 's back. Paul winces and tries to get away. Michael 's right behind him. Paul turns around with a thumb to the eye and Michael staggers backwards but Michael countesr the next punch and tosses his head in the turnbuckle and does a backwards suplex into a pinfall.
Michael rolls Paul up.

Winner: Michael Shane
Don Chuckles: Michael Shane has defeated Paul Wight, what implications could this have on the tag team title scene?
Before we can even hear Phil or Julian answer, the music of General Manager Walker blasts out over the speakers and we see Ken walk out onto the top of the stage. Gone from his face is the smile from earlier, replaced now with a sad frown as he looks down the ramp at Wight in the ring and just shakes his head. In Ken's hand we see a microphone and Paul looks about as curious as we all do to what he's going to say. Could this be the announcement of Kendall's challenger? Is it Paul Wight?
General Manager Walker: Let me go ahead and get one thing crystal clear and out in the open right now. Paul you are not the one who will be facing Alex Kendall at Ascension, infact Paul, you've got bigger concerns on your plate at the moment. Mainly the lack of employment dilemma that you now find yourself faced with.
You see Paul, rather then letting Christian Knight hold up the administration for more money while performing at a subpar level, I just opted to release him. And now Paul I have done the same with you. Paul you showed up here with such promise, such limitless potential, but you have failed to amount to anything.
Perhaps elsewhere Paul you may be able to find yourself again, find that competitive spirit again. This was not an easy decision to come to Paul, but I have to look at the company's best interests. I really am truly sorry...
Don Chuckles: The giant does not look pleased boys.
Phil Latio: Would you be?
We hear "I Believe" by Creed come on again over the speakers as General Manager Walker heads backstage. Seconds later we see a swarm of arena security pour from the back and head down to the ring. In the ring we see Paul Wight get just livid about now being terminated, but he decides to exit the ring and let himself be escorted up the ramp and out of the arena willingly. Once they all disappear behind the curtain, the show proceeds to go to a commercial break.

RETURN FROM BREAK
Match 4: Dominic Reynolds vs. Stalker Knight (Special Guest Referee: Dominic Reynolds)
Coming back from the break, we can see special guest referee Dominic Reynolds in the ring wearing a referee shirt along with his usual boxing shorts/wrestling attire. He has the Thy WWE Intercontinental Title slung over his shoulder and is just staring towards the top of the entrance way with an intense look of concentration on his face.
Don Chuckles: I have never seen Dom look so focused.
Julian Chichy: Explain to me please what this little thing is that's been going on with Reynolds and that clown Stalker Knight.
Phil Latio: Your guess is as good as mine.
We hear the theme music of John Morrison come on first over the speakers. He walks out to a positive response from the fans before starting to head down the ramp. He only makes it about halfway though before he is clubbed from behind by Stalker. Morrison rolls all the way down the rest of the ramp and stops at ringside. We see Stalker start to bully Morrison and taunt him by clubbing him a couple of more times, then paintbrushing him back down to the mat each time he tries to get up. We see Dominic drop the Intercontinental Title and exit the ring like he is going to restore some order, but then he just stops and turns his head. Tightly closing his eyes, it almost looks as if Dominic is experiencing some kind of memory or deja vu as he steps backwards and gets inside of the ring.
Don Chuckles: Is Dominic having a stroke?
Stalker on the outside turns his head for a moment and observes what is going on, perplexed for a moment we see him gather himself once more as he picks Morrison up and rolls him inside of the ring. Dominic seems to have gathered himself as he stares at Stalker with an odd look of rage and something else that I can't quite put my finger on. Could it be some kind of apprehension?
Stalker follows and tries to attack Morrison some more, but gets stung in the inner thigh with a kick. Morrison then kicks the calf and upper outside leg of Stalker before bouncing past Dominic, comin back, flipping and stinging Stalker on the chin with a spinning kick. Stalker falls to the mat and we see Morrison go for a pinfall immediately. Dominic drops down and starts to count--1...2..Stalker kicks out. Morrison continues his offense on Stalker for the next several minutes before a thumb to the eye once again shifts the momentum curve back in his favor. Stalker then once again takes Morrison down and starts to mockingly attack him. This time though we see Reynolds apparently have enough of it as he pushes Stalker away. Stalker then turns and comes face to face with the champion. Even with out a microphone we can hear the two of them start to jaw at one another.
Stalker Knight: What are you doing!
Dominic Reynolds: That's enough.
Stalker Knight: Do your damn job before I knock your freakin block off.
Dominic Reynolds: You don't remember me do you?
Stalker Knight: What ar-
Morrison is now back on his feet and back in the fray as he brings Stalker to his knees with a pair of hard kicks to the back. Morrison then leaps off the ropes, flips around and hits Stalker with a clean chuck kick that puts him on his back. Going down for the pinfall we see Dominic administer the count--1...2...NO! Stalker kicks out. Morrison then quickly eyes the top ropes as he pulls Stalker closer into position. Jumping onto the top rope, we see Morrison drop down, contort and connect with a picture perfect Starship Pain on Stalker. Hooking the legs once again, Dom goes down and makes the count--1...2...3
Winner: John Morrison
Don Chuckles: Morrison wins the match, but I still don't have the foggiest clue of what is going on between Stalker Knight and Dominic Reynolds.
Phil Latio: I think they know each other, or at least Dom knows Stalker. This is so confusing.
Raising Morrison's arms quickly, we see Dom exit the ring and start to walk up the ramp. Morrison hops on the middle turnbuckle and celebrates as well for a moment before exiting the ring. Dom stops at the top of the ramp and looks back down in the ring at Stalker who is now starting to recover. Stalker is cursing obscenities and staring straight at Dominic who is staring back. The show goes to another commercial break with all of us just a bit confused at precisely what is going on.

RETURN FROM BREAK
Match 5: General Manager Starr PPV Warm Up
Don Chuckles: I'm not too sure why Austin would need a warm up for the pay per view against Callihan. He has shown time and time again that few can compete with him in the ring.
Julian Chichy: Few?
For the second time tonight we hear "I Believe" come on over the arena speakers and we see General Manager Walker emerge from the back and quickly walk down to the ring. We see a microphone in Ken's hand and this time we can hear some of the arena fans actually booing Ken along with the many who are showing the usual praise and admiration. Once the music stops Ken wastes no time and begins to speak.
General Manager Walker: I can understand some of the frustration that some of you might be feeling. Honestly if I were in your shoes and I seen a superstar I liked get fired, I would boo the man who did it too. As I stated before though, please understand that I do things like this for all of you. I was promoted to the position of General Manager simply because I know how to provide the best show possible, the best show performed by the best talent, for the best fans.
Now with that said, onto pressing business, I know I'm on borrowed time at the moment so I will make this quick. Now our World Champion Alex Kendall was left off the card tonight and not flown to the arena.
Julian Chichy: Gee I wonder who's call that was....
Either way, an announcement was promised tonight though so let me get down to it. Since debuting and winning the title, Alex Kendall has ran absolutely roughshod over all of his contenders. No man has brought the fight to Alex Kendall....except for one....
Don Chuckles: You don't think...?
Phil Latio: Nah it can't be.
There is only one man who has pushed Alex Kendall to his absolute limits and since losing the World Title to Alex Kendall he has not been seen around Thy WWE since, but I have secured his services and gotten his name signed to the contract.
Julian Chichy: Uh oh.
The fans start to roar with their approval as General Manager Walker continues.
General Manager Walker: That's right....June 24th at the Ascension pay per view it will be Alex Kendall defending the Undisputed World Title against........................................................................................................................................................................................ SHEAMUS!
Don Chuckles: OH MY GOD!
Louder fan approval as Ken just starts to nod and grin.
Voice: Ab-so-lutely not!
"My Own Hell" by Five Finger Death Punch starts to blast out over the speakers as we see General Manager Starr walk out from the back with a microphone already in his hand.
General Manager Starr: Cut the damn music! What do you think you're doing Ken? There is no way that Sheamus is going to be the one to face Alex at the pay per view.
General Manager Walker: Why not?
Austin is now in the ring and is face to face with Ken.
General Manager Starr: You apparently haven't been paying attention have you old friend? Sheamus had his chance to do what he was supposed to do and crush Alex, but he failed. And then after failing, rather then sticking around like a man, like a true warrior would, he instead decided to tuck his tail between his legs and run home like a coward. What would possess you to give that man another chance when he hasn't even been seen on television in months?
General Manager Walker: Just a second there old friend...did you just accuse ME of not paying attention? Let me tell you a few things Austin, perhaps if your mind wasn't so clouded with this foolish vendetta against that woman, you would see that this is the best business decision. You would see that Sheamus vs. Alex Kendall is going to be the biggest rematch in company history. Austin as much as you may not like to acknowledge it, you are NOT the big dog running the show, I've got just as much stroke around here as you do and the match has already been signed.
General Manager Starr: I do-
General Manager Walker: Deal with it! And another thing, who in the hell do you think you are to say that I am not paying attention. Do you remember Austin when you used to tell me that it was time to step away, do you remember warning me that I was driving my own family away, putting my very health and life at risk? Too late or not, I at least can say that I have learned the err of my ways. I have at least decided that is finally time to call it quits. But look at you Austin! You lose everything, but then by the grace of god you are awarded a second chance.
General Manager Starr: Don't y-
General Manager Walker: Don't you speak! You're done hiding from the truth Austin, you always preach to others about accepting the truth, it's time you do the same thing. You were fortunate enough to be given a second chance Austin, you found your daughter again and you finally got what you wanted. You finally got Lily. After you got them, look at what you have done so far Austin, rather then be there for them, rather then be the father that those kids need, rather then be the husband that your wife needs, you have instead decided to make the same asinine mistakes that I made. You continually neglect them, putting your career, putting this business and your stupid quest for revenge above them.
What kind of man are you Austin!
What kind of father are you!
Ask yourself this old friend, is this measly match going to be finally worth it? Is losing your family, losing the only ones in this world who still love and care for you worth it? I'm pleading to whatever sanity you have left Austin to simply stop this, walk away while you still can. Walk away before it is too late.
You see Austin, I lost everything and it's a pain that I will be forced to deal with every single day for the rest of my life. But you old friend, you lost it all, got it back and are now dangerously close to losing it again. You won't be given another chance Austin, even if you get the decisive victory you so think you need.
When all is said and done you won't have anything left.
You disgust me...
Don Chuckles: Wow...just wow...
We can see anger and tears flaring in Ken's eyes as he drops the microphone and just stares at Austin. We see General Manager Starr lift the microphone to his mouth, but then he just drops it and exits the ring, shaking his head while walking up the ramp. In the ring we can see Ken slowly shake his head as well.
The show then slowly fades to black as Ken exits the ring.

Good show. Demmi is on LOA until this coming week I believe. Paul being fired hurts Beno a bit I suppose. Beno now needs to find a new partner hehe. Should be interesting in how or who he picks. Maybe we can do a match for it. Beno, let Austin or I know asap! (:
Nice showing this week, a few no shows but nothing too bad. Sheamus and Kendall shall be interesting. Overall, I enjoyed the show and the rps this week. Keep it up Thy WWE!
But whatever, everyone comment on the show! The writers need feedback and such.
