"The Future" Blade LaVigne vs. Beno (Exhibition Match)
Negotiations fell through several weeks ago between Thy management and SCW alumnus Blade LaVigne to work an Exhibition Match against William Chance. Ever the persistent perfectionist, management kept at it and now the match is official. We will see the former SCW US Champion return to action for one night only and take on the very impressive Beno. Anything can happen here in this business, could we see Blade pull off an impressive win....or will Beno dominate once again.

The scene opens up and we see a man. This man is none other than SCW’s alumnus Blade LaVigne sitting down on a fine leather couch inside of his home. Blade is dressed in blue jeans and a white beater. Blade is watching an old video on his television. Blade sits there with no of emotion on his face. He is just staring at the screen. The camera zooms into the television. We are treated with a flash back of SCW. We are at the end of the US title match at Redemption.
Blade cringes in pain as the referee comes over to where Blade is and asks if he wants’ to tap out, he shakes his head now and drags himself towards the ropes as Valerie clinches in the hold even harder making him scream out loud. He gets close and he goes to grab the rope as he stretches out his hand and his fingers almost grabs the ropes but the built on sweat that on them make the rope slip threw his fingers as his hand smacks the mat, once… then twice…showing that he’s tapping out. Winner by Submission – Valerie Melamid (31:21)
The camera zooms out and we see Blade pick up the remote and shuts off the television. Blade drops the remote and looks into the Thy WWE camera. Blade begins to speak. Blade LaVigne: I was inches away from becoming US champion in Sin City Wrestling. Redemption was suppose to be my night but it was taken away by Valerie Melamid. I tried my hardest but every time I earned myself a title shot, I came up inches short. You see I have no support in SCW. SCW was the dark times of my wrestling career and Redemption was the last time I competed in a wrestling match. Why? No company wanted to sign me. I brought in no fans, I had no support like I said and I lost to a diva. Nothing to Valerie because she was really good but I lost to her twice. For two weeks now, I have been emailed, called…everything by….the man I hate the most, the man that never gave me the time of day in SCW. The man is your RAW GM, Austin Starr. The man who screwed me hundreds of time has the balls to attempt to contact me. Why? That man hated my guts and I never had a fair share in SCW. But out of the blue, he asks me to come back for one match. I gave up wrestling because I did not want to deal with anyone like Austin Starr again.
It wasn't just Austin though. No one in SCW gave shits about little Blade LaVigne. I was a ugly duckling in a pond full of swans and no one cared nor saw my true talent. I was the most talented in SCW and no one noticed it. If I never became anything in SCW why the fuck would I sign a contract with Thy WWE? And if Austin Starr is GM, I would get no where. Wrestling was suppose to be my destiny and I had a future in pro wrestling but Austin Starr ruined that for me. Blade pauses and lends forward letting his both of his arms rest onto his knees. Blade looks into the camera once again and starts to speak again. Blade LaVigne: Don’t let Starr fool you. It will begin with one match and he will ask me to come back fully. The wrestler Austin wants me to compete against is a bigger man, he goes by the name of Beno. Beno, sorry for wasting your time but I really don’t see this match taking place. I want nothing to do with you nor Thy WWE. I have no fans anymore, I have nothing…no motivation. You have to understand that there is no reason nor point for me to return to the ring. I hung up my boots a long time ago and I do not plan on taking them down anytime soon. I know there has been rumors around that I agreed to this match up but the truth is, I haven’t. The last time I talked to Austin Starr was back in SCW, two years ago or something like that. I can’t remember and I really don’t care. I will not fall into anything Thy WWE has planned for Attrition. That show will go one, but with me? I highly doubt it. Hell, I don’t have time for anything like that.Blade's head drops as he continues to speak. Blade LaVigne: Even if I decided to come back, I am rusty…Like I said before, I haven’t stepped into a wrestling ring since early 2010. With the Pay per view in a day or two, I have no time to get ready, no time to train or anything. It isn’t like I have a week to shake this rust off. I am not as good as I once was. Another thing Austin would need to understand, this would not be a return or anything dramatic. I let down too many fans in my life time, I can't do that again. If I do this, it will be a one time deal and nothing more. Austin, I tell you this now, don't get your hopes up. If I do this match, it will be for the PPV and that is it. If I show and wrestle, I want you to thank me and admit that you screwed me in SCW. I want the world to hear those words coming out of your mouth. You're the reason why my career never went anywhere.
My dream was to become US champion and you took that away from me. You might laugh at me for holding onto this but it was my dream and you took that away from me. I will never join a company where you are in charge because of that. It's your fault and now you will suffer because I could be a force in this company, I could be the best wrestler in the world! But thanks to you, I'm not.Blade lends back into the couch and continues. Blade LaVigne: Austin, I coming to the show will depend on you and on how I feel that day. So... don't get your hopes up, Thy WWE. Now, I want this Thy WWE camera out of my face and off of my property. The camera begins to back up towards the door as Blade picks up the remote and turns the television back on. The camera fades to black as the scene ends.

Post by Beno/Maven on Jul 20, 2011 16:25:05 GMT -5
We open up to the home of none other than Beno. It’s a large three story home which is painted white with blue trimming. A ten foot iron fence and gate surround the property. Tall gritted windows are seen from all directions of the house. A larger than life oak tree stands directly to the right of the home. As we enter through the dark brown wooden doors, we see Beno sitting on a blue suede couch. His arms are at his side. He’s clad in a pair of white and black swim trunks. A long golden chain is hung around his neck that hangs to the middle of his chest. A Rolex watch is wrapped around his right wrist and both of his hands are covered in pure gold rings. He has his feet propped up on a blue suede foot stool. He smirks at the camera crew. Various championship belts and awards hang from the wall. Pictures of family and friends are seen on a pure granite table. A 52” flat screen television stands up against the far side of the room.
Beno: Two weeks ago, you all witnessed the formation of The Fallen. Two men who have been held back by the corruption that is Austin Starr. Upon his arrival as general manager, I was pushed aside for men that don’t come close to my league. Men like Randy Orton, Jacob Senn and Jonny Freeman. Fuck that guy doesn’t even have a contract here and he gets put in the main event of Attrition. That just goes to show how corrupt and biased that Austin Starr is. He gives a man who couldn’t hack it in the business another shot at the Undisputed championship. The shot that is rightfully mine. I’ve been on a tear here in Thy WWE. The majority of the matches that I was booked in, I came out the victor. I took out the entire group of Eternity single handedly. I put Joey The Bastard on the shelf. He hasn’t been on television since the Royal Rumble when I eliminated his ass. I hold two records in the Royal Rumble. Records that no man has even come close to breaking. But none of that was good enough for you, was it Starr? No you continued to overlook my talent and book me in mediocre matches against jobbers. That was the straw that broke the camels back. So I took it upon myself to make a statement. Two weeks ago, I aided my newly found tag team partner Crisis to send a message to the entire company. Together, we gave MVP the beat down of his life. We put him through a flaming table. No one has heard from MVP since that night on Smackdown.
Beno pauses for a moment, admiring the numerous championship belts and awards that hang on the wall of his home.
My efforts finally caught your eye and got your attention. You heard what I heard what I had to say about you. If you took it to heart, who knows. But the fact of the matter is this. Unlike every other man and woman on the Thy WWE roster, I did something about my predicament. I didn’t sit on my ass and wait for a shot at Sheamus like the rest of the guys in the back. I’m taking what is rightfully mine Starr. It started last week when Crisis and myself defeated Raven and Jacob Senn. And it continues at Attrition when I put Blade LaVigne out of his misery. This may be just an exhibition match to you Blade, but to me, it’s where I shine in the light of Thy WWE. And where I take my rightful spot at the head of the company. So let’s evaluate the situation here for a moment Blade.
Beno stares idly into the camera for a second or two, licks his lips and begins to speak.
You never got your feet out of the water from what I heard you say. Even though you are a former SCW United States champion. Which really doesn’t make too much sense if you ask me. Perhaps you just couldn’t get the job done. From what I recall, you had numerous opportunities to capture the World championship in SCW. And you choked on each and every attempt. So in reality, you have nobody to blame but yourself Blade. What you claim Starr did to you is nothing more than a pathetic attempt to gain attention here in Thy. And I won’t have any of it. See I came to Thy WWE because it’s what my mentor Maven thought what was best for me. I only signed a contract because it was his final wish before he left this company. It was because of him that I’m where I am today. And to be honest, I’m nowhere near where I should be! And it makes me sick to see all of those undeserving wannabes gaining prestige and air time over me. I am the brightest superstar to ever step foot inside of a Thy WWE ring. I am the one that the fans come to see each and every week. Not Brian Gunn, not William Chance and definitely not Triple H. But every week, these men get more than they should. They are given chance after chance. I told you before that I wouldn’t be standing for it. And now is the time for me to make my point loud and clear.
Blade LaVigne, you have no idea what you’ve gotten yourself into by accepting this match. You may not remember this, but we met back in FCW. You managed to help me overthrow Goldberg and become the final United States champion of FCW. Something that I haven’t forgotten about. Because it plagued me the entire time that I was with FCW. I didn’t need nor ask for your help. Everything was set in motion. I played my part and you decided to stick your overly large nose where is didn’t belong. Yeah that’s right Blade. I know about the nose job. I know more about you than what you think. I know why you didn’t succeed in SCW and I know why you won’t be walking out as the winner this Sunday. As of right now, you are the only thing standing in my way of challenging Sheamus for the Undisputed championship. And I cannot allow that to continue. You see, this may be the defining moment in my career. It’s put up or shut up time for me. And I plan on making the most of this. Starr wants me to prove to him why he should give a shit. Well, I’m going to prove to him why I am the future of this industry and company. Starr, I’m going to show you why you cannot afford to lose me. You’ll truly see what I have to offer when I decimate Blade LaVigne limb from limb. When I’m through with you LaVigne, not only will you not receive your apology. But you’ll be too battered and bruised to show up in Thy again. This is my ring LaVigne. This is my turf. And I’m not about to let another no talent less hack take my spot that I’ve earned. NO ONE! I’ve worked too damn hard to lose now. Last week, it was Raven and Senn. This Sunday, Blade LaVigne will be the one to fall to the most devastating finishing move known to man, THE BENO BOMB!
When it’s all said and done Blade, I’ll be one step closer to the Undisputed championship. Now, If you’ll excuse me, I have to begin packing. My flight leaves in two hours. And my destiny awaits.
The scene ends as Beno ushers the camera crew out of his home.
