As the fans in the arena continue confiding their opinions with fellow fan members and making them vocal whenever by cheering or booing whenever a superstar such as Triple H’s face crops up on the big screen which is ever prevalent in keeping the card fresh in their minds. The arena is loud and boisterous as ever, but there are words and plans being brewed behind the scenes as The Undertaker is making his way to the ring. All the WWE enthusiasts in attendance convey their utter contempt for The Demon of Death Valley as he appears on the big screen, garbed in his familiar Ministry robe making his way to the ring at his own leisurely pace. The flame simmering in his eyes and the fixated look of frustration conveys a sense of purpose to the crowd on The Deadman’s part.
Jim Ross: The WWE Champion, Undertaker coming on his way to address us, most likely with a message regarding his non-title match with “The Legend Killer,” Randy Orton.
Jerry Lawler: It would be a huge accomplishment for Randy to topple The Undertaker especially when he is the current champion.
Jim Ross: But that would be a huge upset King. We saw one of the best wrestlers in this whole industry, The Miz come close to the taste of gold at Bad Blood, but not even he could dethrone Undertaker. When it comes to the big game situations, Undertaker always produces and he is red hot right now.
Jerry Lawler: I know that The Phenom is the favourite, just don’t write off The Viper, he may have something up his sleeve yet.
Jim Ross: Well we’ll just have to wait and see at the match itself, until then, your guess is as good as mine.
It is apparent that Undertaker has exited the backstage area as the voices of thousands of fans are beginning to be reiterated over the intercom and there are dark curtains all around. Undertaker looks up with a look of deliberation before the titantron fades away into the blackness that is soon to envelope the arena as a harbinger of The Lord of Darkness himself. Boos have soon filled the arena like a great storm awaiting an on comer. Undertaker will have to traverse the squall of jeers from this hostile capacity crowd. Darkness soon dominates the arena, enthralling all in the dark will and presence of the seemingly omnipotent Phenom, The Undertaker. After a few moments of basking in the eternal shadow and malice of The Deadman, Undertaker’s music airs around the arena.
As the ministry guitar riff kicks in, flames suddenly burst from the stage and outline the entrance ramp, lighting the way to the ring with fire. The Undertaker steps out into the hostile environment and begins his long march down to the ring. As the flame flickers sudden gusts of heat and light flash across Undertaker’s face, revealing his cold remorseless eyes and the expression of vexation he still bears from backstage. Undertaker ascends the steel steps and smoke pours out over him as he raises his arms to his sides and rolls his eyes deep into his skull. The studio lights suddenly function once more and illuminate the arena to its former glory. Meanwhile Undertaker has stepped into the ring and has gotten a microphone presented to him. Undertaker holds his head high as he meets the fans onslaught of boos head on. The Phenom doesn’t suffer them anymore and begins in his message for the WWE.
Undertaker: I stand before you as The Lord of Darkness, a Phenom and still the WWE Champion. The Miz said he would break me, that he would end me in that very ring, but he was gravely mistaken. Just as everyone else who has faced me, he overestimated himself and succumbed to The Undertaker. All of you fools dared to invest your hopes in Miz, you all believed that he could deliver salvation from the plague of darkness, my plague that stretches across the WWE and shrouds all things in my dark spirit. The Miz fell to me and the ring was drenched in his blood before I planted his skull deep into the mat. But tonight is not about the past and the goings on of Bad Blood, it is about the two subjects at hand.
The Undertaker pauses as he thinks of adequate wording for his next statement which appears to the one that has been bearing particular annoyance to him as he seems to be lifting a weight off of his chest as he speaks. The fans continue to heckle Undertaker at the conclusion of every sentence and any pause he makes, but it has all become white noise to Undertaker, who is now beginning his next message.
Undertaker: Triple H, over the past few weeks I felt that your devotion to the Ministry has been waning and ever since that Mickie James went near you, it has faltered even more rapidly. You have deserted the most powerful organization in this entire industry because of a week emotionally scarred fool such as Miz? He merely tried to rattle you, it appears to have worked. When you won your title, you had no help from me Triple H, you have the most gold in the roster and someone who has only had the taste of a championship victory so seldom, has called you a stepping stone. I have no power in your abrupt vacating of the Ministry and must allow you to leave. I can only hope you see the light or perhaps the darkness soon. Until then I await your return as I have more important matters to give my attention to.
The Deadman seems to have a weight off his chest as he proceeds on to his next point that needs to be made to the WWE Universe as well as to his opponents.
Undertaker: Now I move on to you, Randy Orton. I don’t think I have faced an opponent quite like you since my dark return to this industry. I have fought the egotistical narcissist, Maven. The arrogant and brash Miz, who has shown he has more to him than meets the eye and a host of other opponents in the 5-man scramble. You see yourself as a predator don’t you Randy? You think that you are the superior wrestler to everyone else in the company and that you stand atop the food chain. There is no one higher than me on the ladder of greatness and there is no one who preys on me. I am the reality of death Orton and death claims all things in the end, trying to prey on me will only result in your own swift, grievous demise. Unless you have a penchant for pain, I suggest that you pick your words and even more importantly, your actions in the ring carefully. When I step into the ring I change Randy, if what you see now intimidates you, wait until you have to look into the eyes of the dragon on Monday Night Raw, you will be…………terrified. You may have excelled by using your fathers influence and his image but inside the squared circle, where or who you’ve come from means nothing. All there will be is the rapid demise of “The Viper”. My legend will live on forever and nobody, not even the “Legend Killer” will have it die.
The fans boo and jeer Undertaker who is the same as always even after the beating he took from The Miz at Bad Blood, despite the victory. Undertaker faces another camera as he continues on in his extensive message for all who would oppose him and his Ministry in their dark purpose.
Undertaker: Finally, I am to speak of you, Raven. Do you think that you will defeat me with your Raven Effect? I severely doubt your chances. No matter what you do Raven, I am superior to you, this is no hardcore match. Your twenty six hardcore titles are useless in a traditional match, not that weapons could faze The Lord of Darkness in all of his tainted glory. You have been gone since 2003 and a lot of things have changed Raven. You may have remembered me as a Biker and a bad ass. What you see now is The Undertaker at his most pure and evil. I am the incarnation of all things evil and I am the head of the ministry. If you or Randy Orton think that you can dethrone the champion, you have no hope of toppling me when so many gladiators have fallen to the dragon, I am indomitable in that ring Raven. When we get into the ring it won’t be about victory, it will be about survival. When my gong sounds and I have won the match, Randy Orton and Raven…………you will…………………….REST……………………IN……………………..PEACE!!!
Undertaker drops the microphone and the thud it makes is audible to all as it reverberates through the speaker system, as does Undertaker’s theme as he exits from the arena, leaving the crowd in the capable hands of Jerry “The King” Lawler and Jim Ross. Undertaker disappears into the mysteries of the backstage area as Jim Ross begins to speak regarding Undertaker’s recent words.
Jim Ross: As always The Undertaker is very intense and no doubt we will see that intensity flow into his match tonight on RAW.
Jerry Lawler: Even if he is The Undertaker, the odds are very much stacked against him in a triple threat match.
Jim Ross: But as much as I hate to admit it, The Phenom has been red hot of late and he seems to really be getting comfortable with that belt around his waist.
Jerry Lawler: He better not get too comfortable, or he’ll end up like The Miz when he loses it, crying lie a baby!
Jim Ross: Oh give me a break, you don’t even understand what happened to him.
Jerry Lawler: Oh whatever. You can never have any fun JR.
Jim Ross: Yeah, we have to take a short break, but don’t go away. We’ll be back shortly with more action from Monday Night Raw!
