New General Manager Austin Starr, only in power for one week, has already promised huge changes and surprises for the Thy WWE Raw audience. Ratings for the 50th episode were off the charts, and I'm sure all eyes are going to be turning in to see what he has in store for us this week.
Match 1: Madison Simmons vs. Magenta "Wraith" Hellfist
Last week we seen Madison lose a closely watched three way divas match that had implications in regards to contention for the Divas Title. I'm sure that the flawless diva is going to be looking to get herself on track, but her opponent isn't going to make things easy. Magenta is a polar opposite to everything that Madison represents, so when their paths cross in the ring....it's definitely going to be interesting.
Match 2: William Chance vs. Sir Luscious Leftfoot
Rumors were swirling in the locker room of Barton's associate William Chance getting booked against former SCW alumnus Blade LaVigne in an exhibition match, but after pulling out of negotiations at the last moment, it left a spot that quickly needed to be filled. Enter Sir Luscious Leftfoot, a man who has history with Barton, and who is looking to get his "swag" back on track. Perhaps Leftfoot could use this match as a means of retribution for the losses suffered to Barton? Either way you look at it, people are gonna be watching closely to see what William brings to the table competion wise.
Match 3: Velvet Sky vs. Layla El
Last week we seen Velvet thrust herself into immediate contention for the Divas Title with an impressive win in her three way divas match. Now she gets to send a more direct message to the dominant champion Lyara Jayde, who looked flat out scary last week in her destruction of Maryse. Lyara and Layla are cousins and close friends, so I can assure you that Lyara will be keeping a close eye on this match. Will Velvet seize the opportunity for a second week in a row? Or will the pressure be to much for her and will we see her crack under pressure? Either way, it's gonna be interesting to see.
Match 4: Jacob Senn/Aaron vs. Mark Greenburg/James Chaos
Ever since losing the huge ten man match on Smackdown a few weeks back, Jacob Senn and his group of associates have been essentially floating around in limbo. The group finally looks to gain a bit of momentum and perhaps set their sights on some tag team championship gold, when they face the team of Mark Greenburg and James Chaos. These two men have only teamed together once before, but they possess enough talent as singles wrestlers to make sure that the two Eternity members are most definitely going to have their work cut out for them.
Match 5: Triple H vs. Justin Time
Many within the Thy WWE locker room have praised Justin for finally turning his career around, after turning a lot of people the wrong way with his attitude problems....he has amassed quite an impressive winning streak. Right now though, Justin is pushing at the proverbial "glass ceiling" and trying to break through to the next level. Getting a huge win over a man such as Triple H might just do it for him. With his growing issues with Brian Gunn, Triple H better come into this match ready to fight, because I can guarantee you Justin is going to take full advantage of this opportunity given to him.
