None of the usual video, none of the usual thought to open the show, instead we see Raw begin from the darkness with Austin Starr in the ring. Last week we seen one of the most heated exchanges in Thy WWE history as Kenneth and Austin’s match for Oppression became official. We can see a microphone in Austin’s hand as he calmly begins to speak.
Austin Starr: I have to say old friend, I truly didn’t see it coming. I never thought you had it in you…but you did. You shocked not on-
“I Believe” by Creed comes on over the arena speakers and the fans begin to boo as they see Kenneth Walker walk down the ramp and inside of the ring. We can see Kenneth grinning as he motions for a microphone.
Kenneth Walker: Oh please…continue old friend
We can see Austin’s eyes narrow as he continues.
Austin Starr: Kenneth, I underestimated you…that is a mistake that I will not make again. Now that leaves us here in a difficult spot right now. You snaked a deal with the General Manager where no matter what happens, I am not allowed to lay a hand on you until the Oppression PPV. Another tactic that I wasn’t expecting…right now that only leaves one thing I can do. And that my friend, is to raise the stakes…Kenneth would you be interested in making a little wager?
We can see Kenneth intrigued at Austin’s question as he responds.
Kenneth Walker: You only wager with the highest of stakes Austin…what did you have in mind?
Austin Starr: You’re right old friend, I do only gamble with the highest stakes. You see Kenneth, last week I realized something. Perhaps you and I nothing more than a couple of spotlight hogging glory hounds looking for one last run before we fade away into obscurity. The two of us have been good at everything we’ve done in life, exceptionally so with wrestling Kenneth. The adrenaline rush of hearing a sold out crowd of fans either love you or hate you…going to war with an adversary…being in this ring is the only time that you or I feel alive Kenneth. Therein though…causes a problem; you see old friend, this place isn’t big enough for the two of us. As long as the two of us are in the same company, we are going to always be at one another’s throats. I propose Kenneth, that at Oppression, we gamble with the biggest stake of all……..our careers. The loser of the Oppression match is done old friend…end of the line…contract terminated immediately and they will be barred from Thy WWE forever. But not just Thy, wrestling itself…what do you say Kenneth? Do you have what it takes? Are you up for the risk?
We can hear the fans cheer at the risk Austin is willing to take as Kenneth immediately lifts the microphone to his mouth.
Kenneth Walker: It would give me no greater thrill old friend to watch you take the long walk of shame that you sent me on so many years ago. You want me to put my career on the line Austin? Just so I can finally put the last nail in your coffin? No question? You’re on.
We can see Kenneth offer a handshake which Austin takes, but then Kenneth pulls Austin in and speaks once more.
Kenneth Walker: But beware old friend, you just might not make it to Oppression. Keep your eyes open old friend……
We can see Kenneth drop the microphone as his music comes on the speakers once more. Kenneth then leaves the ring as the show goes to a commercial break.

Don Chuckles: What a huge stipulation we just seen added to what is sure to be a violent match.
Phil Latio: Onto the first match Don…this match should be good.
Match 1: Barton vs. Sir Luscious Leftfoot
We can hear a soul heavy voice say “Swag Time” over the speakers as “Super Freak” by Rick James comes on over the arena speakers. We can see Sir Luscious Leftfoot moonwalk his way onto the top of the stage. The fans are cheering for this dancing joke turned somewhat serious competitor as he starts to strut and dance his way down the ramp. Ever since Leftfoot and Swag-A-Licious got the huge upset win over the now current holder of the tag team championships in Shawn Michaels…fans have been clamoring for a rematch. Question is, will they get it? We are quickly surprised though as they see Barton run out from behind the curtain and bring Leftfoot down hard with a double axe handle smash between the shoulder blades. We hear Barton start to scream at Leftfoot about wasting the fans time with stuff like this, and how this isn’t Soul Train, this is wrestling. Barton kicks and stomps at Leftfoot to roll him down the ramp the rest of the way and then brings him inside of the ring. Barton then picks Leftfoot up and tosses him into the corner as he rips his suede jacket open and starts to lace the chest of Leftfoot with stiff sounding knife edge chops. After the fourth chop we see Barton run over to the other side of the ring and charge back towards Leftfoot, hitting him with a rough looking clothesline in the corner. Leftfoot’s legs flop up and he lands in a heap in the corner. Barton then pulls Leftfoot out into the center of the ring and locks in a never seen before submission hold. In a matter of seconds Leftfoot passes out from the pain and the referee rings the bell.
Winner: Barton via Submission Hold
After the match we can see Barton spat on Leftfoot and scream out “Out Fucking Cold”. Barton then kicks Leftfoot in the stomach one more time before exiting the ring.
Don Chuckles: Complete and utter domination
Phil Latio: Barton is a badass
The show then goes to a commercial break.

Match 2: Raven vs. Shawn Michaels
Don Chuckles: This match should have implications on the tag team championships. Shawn Michaels, who destroyed his former partner in John Sturking last week.
Phil Latio: Michaels has said he is good enough to defend the belts by himself, what will this mean for guys like Raven who are looking for another chance to get the belts back.
We hear Sexy Boy come on over the arena speakers and Shawn Michaels comes out first wearing one of the tag team titles around his waist and the other slung over his shoulder. He walks down the ramp and gets inside of the ring. Handing one belt to the referee, he takes the other off of his waist and does a pose with it before handing it off to the official. He then looks towards the ring as Raven’s music comes on over the arena speakers. We see Raven walk out pushing a shopping cart full of various tools of hardcore implementation. Bringing the cart down to ringside we see Raven stop for a moment before he looks at Shawn in the ring. Motioning that he’s gonna be wearing gold soon, Raven rolls inside the ring and gets immediately pounced on by Shawn Michaels. Michaels rains down blows on Raven for a moment, but Raven is able to quickly push forward and counter as he takes Michaels down to the mat and starts to punch away at him. The referee steps forward to break them up, but then just decides to let it go. On the top of the ramp we can see Mr. Swag-A-Licious sneak out and slowly make his way down the ramp. We just seen his partner Luscious Leftfoot get assaulted by Barton, could Swag be trying to get a closer look at Shawn Michaels. Michaels rolls Raven over and punches him a couple more times before getting back to his feet. Now Shawn sees Swag and just shoots him a dirty look. Swag simply responds by hollering “Brown Pants Ba-Bay”. This distraction allows Raven to pop back to his feet and grab Shawn from behind, forcibly putting his head into position, we see Raven spike Michaels into the mat with the Evenflow DDT. Hooking the leg the referee counts the fall—1…2…3!
Winner: Raven via Evenflow DDT
Don Chuckles: Raven capitalizes on the distraction
Phil Latio: I don’t think Shawn is gonna like this when he wakes up
As Raven rolls out of the ring raising his arms in the air, once again motioning around his waist to show that he wants the titles…we see Swag roll inside the ring. As Shawn gets to his knees, we see Swag get a grin as he smacks Shawn on the bottom before hollering “Brown Pants Swag”. The show then goes to a commercial break.

When the show comes back from the break, we can see Shawn Michaels in the back, visibly upset as he screams for Mr. Swag-A-Licious. Back at the ring though it’s time for our next match.
Match 3: James Chaos vs. Justin Time
(Thy WWE Cruiserweight Championship)
“Welcome Home” by Coheed and Cambria comes on first over the speakers as the new Thy WWE Cruiserweight Champion Justin Time walks out on the top of the stage. Last week we seen JT defeat Raven in his guaranteed rematch to once again retain his new prize. I’m sure giving the General Manager the opportunity to remove the former belt’s name has bought JT a lot of points.
Don Chuckles: Two guys with similar styles
Phil Latio: This should be a hard fought bout
Getting down the ring, we see JT roll inside the ring and take off his prize and hand it to the referee. His music stops as we hear the theme song of James Chaos come on over the speakers as the challenger runs down the ramp without any hesitation and gets inside the ring. Locking eyes with the champion, we can see the referee quickly ask them if they know the rules, both men nod and this match is officially underway. James then immediately charges at JT, but the champ skillfully jumps up and back and catches his foot against the skull of JC with an enziguri kick. JC’s eyes glaze over and he falls to the mat as JT goes for a quick fall—1…2…NO! JC kicks out and JT immediately pulls him back to his feet. Paintbrushing JC a few times, JT bounces off the ropes and comes back—connecting with the Time Flies (flying forearm). JC hits the mat once again, but as JT goes to follow up, he is shocked by JC who grabs him and gets him in a school boy roll up. Count by the referee—1…2…NO! JT kicks out and breaks away. Getting back to his feet, also quickly is JC. The two of them then start to trade blows in the center of the ring. JC starts to overwhelm JT and turns his back to bounce off the ropes, however when he comes back he is stung hard by JT who turns his lights out with a Clockstopper. Literally out on his feet, we can see JC sway as a perplexed JT only stares for a second before shaking his shoulders and grabbing JC. Turning him around, we see JT follow up by hitting The World Premier. JC flops over on the mat and JT hooks the legs as the referee counts the fall—1…2…3.
Winner: Justin Time via The World Premier
Justin stands up celebrating as the referee hands him the Cruiserweight Championship, he raises it in the air triumphantly but then stops in his tracks when he sees Raven standing on the top of the stage. We see JT start to jaw at Raven who only does the same motion around his waist from earlier. Raven then turns and disappears behind the curtain as the show goes to a commercial break.

Backstage we can see Shawn Michaels has apparently found Swag-A-Licious as he is stomping him in the back training area. He only stops when he sees Luscious Leftfoot walk up carrying a kendo stick, Shawn walks away from the armed Leftfoot tapping his head. But the saving moment doesn’t last long though as we see Barton make another appearance as he attacks Leftfoot again, taking him down and locking him in the same submission hold that made him pass out the first time. Trainers and arena staff swarm in to break up the attack and check on Leftfoot as the show goes back to ringside.
Match 4: Mr. Cartwright vs. Robin
Don Chuckles: Former stable mates clash here Phil
Phil Latio: Cartwright is gonna get his ass whooped
We first see the arena lights shine over the Society seats near ringside, four has now become three as we see Robin stand up and make his way over the ramp. Walking without pause to the ring, he climbs the steps and gets inside. Next up we hear Antonin Leopold Dvorak - Symphony no. 9 "The New World" Finale come on over the speakers as Mr. Cartwright slowly makes his way down the ramp and gets inside of the ring. Robin doesn’t seem at all phased by the recent departure of Cartwright from his group, while at the same time the man formerly known as Magpie seems to not even be intimidated by Robin. The referee looks at the two of them and after pointing to Robin and getting a nod, and then pointing to Cartwright and getting a nod he waves the bell rung and the match is underway. Hearing the bell seems to still do nothing for the lackluster attitude these men are showing each other. Meeting in the center of the ring we see them engage in a collar and elbow tie up. Robin gets the edge over Cartwright and backs him into the corner, kicking him in the stomach one time we see Robin step back and simply stare the same blank stare. After Cartwright catches his wind we see him step face to face with Robin and the two of them engage in another collar and elbow tie up, this time Cartwright gets the advantage as he breaks the tie up and displays some impressive athleticism as he drops Robin with a dropkick. The back and forth between these two men is hard to follow as it continues for several more minutes, until as Robin hits a near low blow and goes off the top rope trying to hit a finishing blow, we see Cartwright counter as he grabs Robin and plants him into the mat with his Mr. Immaculate finishing maneuver. Cartwight then hooks Robin’s leg and the referee counts the fall—1…2…3!
Winner: Mr. Cartwright via Mr. Immaculate
As Cartwright leaves the ring we see the World Champion Jonny Freeman come out clapping Robin mockingly for losing his match. Once Robin sees Jonny mocking him, we see anger flare in his eyes as the show goes to a commercial break.

We now hear the music of Joey The Bastard come on over the arena speakers, Jonny only looks towards the entrance way but then goes back to further mocking Robin. We then see Joey make his way out and get down to ringside, rolling inside the ring finally causes the champion to change his focus. As the referee walks up to do his pre match routine, Jonny simply shoves him back and tells him to ring the bell. The referee obliges and the match is underway, right away we see Jonny take one more look at Robin before charging towards JTB. JTB simply is able to grab Jonny and jump into the air as he slams him backfirst into the mat. Jonny’s head bounces off the mat and the World Champion lies still on the canvas as JTB drops down and makes the fall—1…2…3! Joey The Bastard has just pinned the Thy WWE Unified World Champion.
Winner: Joey The Bastard via Jumping Spinebuster Slam.
Joey exits the ring celebrating his huge win while it’s Robin’s turn now to stand up and mockingly clap Jonny for the display just put on by the World Champion. The show ends with Jonny coming to, grabbing his head and looking furious himself at what just happened.
