Thy WWE Presents: Monday Night Raw
Date: January 11, 2011
Venue: Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington
RP Limit: One
RP Deadline: January 12th at 10 PM (PST)
---
OOC NOTE FROM AUSTIN: There was some confusion/miscommunication/error with last weeks deadline in relation to the board clock. Despite the board clock being set to Blade's time zone, it's still 10 PM PST, so for my East Coast members, that means 1 AM, central members, it'd be midnight, etc. I didn't clearly state it last week, but now it is....so there should be no issue this time
---
Match 1: Barton vs. Sir Luscious Leftfoot
Last week we seen Barton defeat newcomer The Pelican in a pretty good match, afterwards though, we heard rumors of Barton going to management, talking about being insulted at the recent wave of "joke" characters that are coming to Thy WWE. We've seen Barton pride himself on being a real wrestler, a good wrestler, so his frustration is understandable. Management has responded by booking him in this match, we all know Luscious Leftfoot started off as nothing more then a dancing fool, but has recently found his competitive edge. Will Barton keep his momentum going and defeat another "colorful" character? Or will Leftfoot get another notch in his win column....tune in to find out.
Match 2: Raven vs. Shawn Michaels
Raven, a former Tag Team and Cruiserweight champion has been on a bit of a downward slide recently. Rumors got attention on him again however, as apparently he is planning on a partner and making another pursuit of the tag team championships currently held exclusively by Shawn Michaels after his attack last week on John Sturking. We've also heard that Michaels is going to be revealing his new tag team partner soon, but I'm sure that if Raven can get the win here, he and whomever he chooses will be in immediate consideration for a tag team title shot.
Match 3: James Chaos vs. Justin Time
(Thy WWE Cruiserweight Championship)
This match seems like it has all the makings to be a sure fire crowd pleaser. Justin Time, impressive since returning to Thy WWE, defends his newly won Cruiserweight Championship for the second time against fast rising up and comer in James Chaos. The winners here are definitely going to be the fans, who will get to watch this beauty unfold in front of their very eyes. Tune in, guarantee you can't miss it.
Match 4: Mr. Cartwright vs. Robin
We seen the beginning of the end for the Society group as last week the man formerly known as Magpie distanced himself from the others after a heated confrontation with Robin. Now this week, we get to see him put the exclamation point on it as he faces Robin one on one. I'm sure that World Champion Jonny Freeman is going to be keeping a very close eye on this match indeed.
Match 5: Joey The Bastard vs. Jonny Freeman
(Non Title)
(GreenSpark is the Special Guest Referee)
Last week we seen GreenSpark in a match against former World Champion Maven that was officiated by JTB. This week, it's GreenSpark's turn to don the stripes as he officiates over a huge opportunity for JTB. Taking on the World Champion is huge for any one, on and given day. Getting the win here I'm sure will propel JTB far up the rankings, but Jonny is definitely going to be looking to use this match to send a message to Robin. Either way, make sure you tune in, this one is going to be good.
---
ANOTHER OOC NOTE FROM AUSTIN: Due to Proboards being difficult last night, I have decided on no Casino card for this week. I don't think it's fair for only a one day turnaround (well one and a bit) for those guys booked on the show. As is, we lost a day and I'm hoping that doesn't hurt things. Either way....um.....enjoy....ya
