MONDAY NIGHT RAW
The explosions and music goes off, welcoming us to another exciting episode of Monday Night Raw. After we see the usual panning around the arena, we are taken to ringside where in the ring we can see an unknown man standing next to a podium. Before we know it we are treated to a familiar voice coming on over the arena speakers…it’s the General Manager of Raw! What is he going to say to the sold out fans in attendance tonight? Well I guess we’re gonna find out…
General Manager: Good evening Thy WWE…I bet you never thought we would have ever gotten to this point. I bet you never thought that we would be looking onto our next pay-per-view after the spectacular display that was Wrestlemania. Ratings are at their highest points since Thy’s inception…talk is at a sky high fever pitch. Now we must look onto the future, our next event to be held on the 19th of December…what a way to follow the excitement from Wrestlemania…by keeping the ball rolling…by finally crowning a Thy WWE World Champion. Now as many of you remember…many weeks back I stripped Maven of the Smackdown World Championship…fired the former Raw World Champion and decreed that there would be no champion until somebody stepped up and proved that they deserved it. Each and every single week I’ve been keeping a close eye on my talent…and I’ve narrowed the pool down to eight talents who I feel have stood above and beyond their peers. These eight men will compete in a single elimination tournament…ending at our next pay-per-view extravaganza…and the prize is this…
Almost on cue in the ring, we can see the man turn his back towards the crowd and open the suitcase. Inside we can see a shiny gold championship belt…is that the Thy WWE Unified World Championship?
General Manager: Do you see it gentleman? Do you see the prize before you…how bad do you want it? Eight of you have stepped up and shown me you want it…but only one man will be left standing in the end…only one man will get the opportunity to call himself the absolute best that Thy WWE has to offer…only one man will get a chance to call himself……..champion. The first round of matches will be announced at the end of tonight and will begin on next week’s Raw…get ready gentleman…good luck and good day.
The General Manager signs off and we can see the man in the ring close up the briefcase and walk out of the ring…the show then goes ringside to Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.
JR: Well King…that was certainly an interesting way to open the show…a huge announcement dropped by the General Manager. We will finally have a World Champion decided in a little over a month…via the result of an eight man single elimination tournament.
King: But he didn’t say who the man were
JR: The first round of matches will be announced at the end of tonights show King…were you not paying attention…haha
King: Either way Ross…tonight has already started off on a huge note.
JR: Yes it has King…yes it has..

As the show returns from break, we see a form standing in the back of the locker room that has appeared on the titantron screen, a tapping on the back cement floor that sounds like a gentle hammering. The forms back is to the camera filming, what is shown that is tapping on the floor is that of a sledgehammer. The form turns around and the sledgehammer comes up to be within his hands. Looking with his head down as it slowly raises up it is the face of Triple H. Intensity, raw anger seeps from his eyes.
[The King of Kings] Triple H: “What doubt does a man have about his career? When does a man choose to retire? Many have wondered where The Game has been, where The King of Kings has been and why he has not been upon his throne. Well I’m back! The ignorance of a locker room who beseeches to men who are no longer themselves, bowing to men whose names ring of nothing but arrogance and self admiration. No this is not the way to be, for in the days of past I dropped men with such ideals. Many fell to me, many forget that I’m The Game! But I guess it is good I am back now, I guess it is time for Triple H to once more bring the hammer down!”
Triple H grabbed the sledgehammer end with both hands and swung it right into a monitor in the back. He brought the hammer back over his shoulder looking into the camera.
[The King of Kings] Triple H: “Men who think they hold ground in this business. Men whom talk of their accolades. Most of these men are pathetic. Thirteen times I have been the King, thirteen times I have reigned over men, let’s see them get past the best in the business. Remember Flair said to be the man you have to beat the man. Well I’m the man of wrestling, The King looking to return to his throne, and all that means for the THY locker room is that it’s really Game Over for every whining and moaning little jerk wad in the back. It’s Time to Play The Game!”
Triple H cracked his neck to the side, he stood there in his blue jeans and King of Kings t-shirt not once budging his position or the anger in his eyes.
Going back to ringside we can see JR and the King looking perplexed.
JR: The Game King…we’re gonna see big things here from soon once again.

BREAK
RETURN FROM BREAK
---
As the show returns from break, we see a form standing in the back of the locker room that has appeared on the titantron screen, a tapping on the back cement floor that sounds like a gentle hammering.
