MONDAY NIGHT RAW
Tonight is the first night of a unified roster for a company that is still currently rebuilding to get itself back to the dominance it once felt. Doubters and naysayers have decided to pack up and quit, former champions have decided to cowardly abandon the home that made them great. But greener pastures are indeed it order for those who have decided to stick around, with an announcement being delivered tonight from the still anonymous General Manager of the now defunct Smackdown brand…anything could happen tonight. Let’s get it started.
===
JR: Welcome to Monday Night RAW. I am Jim Ross.
The King: And I am Jerry "The King" Lawler!
JR: I’m getting word right now King, that along with the announcement from the General Manager of Smackdown we are also going to be treated by an appearance from Thy WWE chairman Vince McMahon. I wonder what he is going to say.
The King: Let’s listen.
The camera changes views and we see Vince standing in the ring with a smile on his face. McMahon pulls a black Thy WWE microphone out of his pocket and slowly brings it up to his mouth. Vince begins to speak.
Vince McMahon: Hello and welcome to Monday Night Raw--I have a few things to say. First, I would like to thank you all for showing up tonight. Without you fans, Thy WWE would be nothing. Each and every single one of you who spend your hard earned money to come here are the reasons why we continue to perform for you week in and week out. As you know, we fell into a bit of a downward spiral recently with the actions of incompetent authority figures and greedy superstars. But with a new figure in charge, along with those certain superstars being shown the door, I can now say proudly that we are finally back on track. However, one matter remains and to address that—I would like to ask every superstar in the back to come out here to the top of the stage. Smackdown and Raw alike…
Slowly each man steps onto the stage and they spread out so they can all see McMahon.
JR: What’s going on here. Why are Smackdown guys here on RAW as well?
The King: I have no idea JR but I want to know why...
Vince McMahon: Thank you gentlemen...and Layla. I will get right down to business…effective immediately and until further notice—the Smackdown brand is now no more. The superstars from that show will join the superstars currently on Raw and we will move forward with one unified roster for the immediate time being.
We can see the superstars nodding in acceptance as Vince grins in the ring, we then are shown Ross and The King at ringside.
JR: Wow, what an announcement!
The King: No doubt JR. This is a shocker! I was hoping the announcement would have included me and a raise!
JR: Really?
The King: Yeah, but this is more exciting. This whole RAW show will be all RAW vs Smackdown matches and Smackdown will no longer be a active show.
JR: Monday Night RAW will be the only show.
The King: Yeah, until things pick up once more.
We can see Vince leave the ring and start to walk up the ramp as the Thy WWE superstars head back stage, with the exception of Celtic Champion Randy Orton who walks down to ringside and takes a seat with Ross and The King while Jeff Hardy, Green Spark and Stone Cold all get down and inside so the first match of the night can get underway.
Match One
Jeff Hardy vs. Green Spark vs. Stone Cold
--Winner faces Randy Orton for the Celtic Championship—
This match was a fine opening. Jeff Hardy and Stone Cold showed no effort. Green Spark controlled the whole match. GS, looked really good in this match. Jeff tried to hit his finisher on Green Spark but the young GS reversed it and hit his finisher which is a double under hook back breaker. GS turns around and Stone Cold tries to hit a Stunner but GS pushes him off. They fight for some time until GS hits that finishing back breaker on SCSA. GS pins Austin for the 1........................2.....................3
Winner: Green Spark in 6:05 via back breaker.
JR: Whoa, GreenSpark out of nowhere stepping it up and winning this match up!
The King: Now He gets a chance to capture the Celtic Championship from The Viper next week.
JR: That will be a good match but I want to see a good match now! Let’s move on to the second match up!
Randy stands up and just stares at his new challenger briefly before walking up the ramp and leaving. Green Spark then leaves followed by Hardy and Stone Cold. We then go back to the ring already as the show progresses.
Match Two
Mankind vs. Derrick Morris
The King: Mankind takes on Derick Moris!
Derick Moris' theme song begins as the fans boo the former Cross and Bone champion. Derick runs down the ramp and slides into the ring. The boos continue as his theme song stops and Mankind's music begins. Mankind's music continues to play for some time, we now begin to wonder where in the world can he be.
Mankind music ends
JR: What the hell is going on?
On the big screen we see Mankind sitting up against a wall all beaten and bloody.
The King: Who in the world would do this to Mankind! Mankind is a living legend!
Derick inside the ring looks confused. Suddenly out of nowhere the announcer begins to talk. The big screen goes black.
Announcer: Due to Mankind not being able to compete, Derick Moris is declared the winner!
JR: WHAT? My God! This is unbelievable!
The King: I want some answers! I bet it was someone like Sheamus!
JR: Hey, do not be pointing fingers. Anyone could have done this.
The referee lifts up Derick Moris's hand and Derick cocks a grin! Derick walks out of the ring and into the back area.
Winner: Derick Moris via forfeit
JR: That was something hey King?
The King: Oh yeah, that was some scary stuff! What if Mankind is just one out of many?
JR: Let’s hope these attacks stop! Let’s get to our next match shall we.
The King: Xavier Oden takes on Shawn Michaels.
Match Three
Xavier Oden vs. Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels comes out from behind the curtain looking happy as ever. He gets down on his knees and throws his hands into the air and his pyros go off. He hops back up and walks down the ramp as he gets booed by the fans. He slides into the ring and goes to his corner. He watches the curtain awaiting the arrival of Xavier Oden.
Oden struts out onto the ramp. He points at Micheals and then at the ground telling him he is going down. The Killer smiles as he walks down the ramp toward The Heart Break Kid. He walks up the ring steps and climbs into the ring. He says something to Micheals but the commotion of the fans is too loud to hear it.
As the bell rings Micheals runs at Oden and kicks him. Oden stumbles back but the kick didn't seem to faze him too much. Oden just looks at Shawn and laughs. Oden kicks his foot up hittin Micheals in the face knocking him to the mat. Oden bends down and locks in the Crippler Cross- Face. Shawn moans already in pain. With the ref everyfew minutes saying "Do you submit?" Shawn tries to fight out of it. When Shawn finally breaks the hold he rolls out of the ring to get a breather. Oden smirks and climbs to the top rope. He shakes his head at Shawn and jumps. Shawn tries to catch him in mid air but it doesn't work as Shawn lands hard on his back on the concrete. Oden stands up and laughs. He grabs Shawn's arm and picks him up slowly. He Irish whips Shawn into the steel steps with a CRASH! The ref gets tired of trying to get them back in the ring and starts his count.
ONE.......TWO.......THREE.......FOUR.......FIVE
Oden now has Shawn sitting against the stairs. Oden backs away from HBK's body and he runs back towards him. He jumps up and dropkicks HBK into the stairs. Shawn just falls over gasping for air. Oden picks him up and throws Micheals into the ring as the ref reaches eight. Oden stands Micheals up and Micheals starts punching him. HBK runs off the ropes and drops Oden with not one but two clotheslines. Then HBK hits a scoop slam and goes to the top rope. He points down at Oden and the fans start yelling different things. Just then Coming Undone by Korn hits the PA and GreenSpark steps out onto the ramp. Shawn gets distracted by Spark wihch gives Oden a perfect chance. He climbs onto the second ropes and hits the XKO on Micheals.
ONE........TWO........THREE!
Oden hops up dancing around happy that he won. The camera zooms into GreenSpark who nods smirking and walks back behind the curtain.
Winner: Xavier Oden in 8:05 via XKO
The King: GreenSpark screwed Shawn Michaels JR! This is great!
JR: This is not great! Shawn Michaels needs to be respected here in Thy WWE! He is an icon!
The King: You must be on drugs JR! HBK can not focus here in Thy WWE! He is no where close to being an icon!
JR: Whatever King, lets get to our next match! Dan Hellman takes on Justin Time!
Match Four
Justin Time vs. Dan Hellman
Justin Time and Dan Hellman takes equal amount of time to get down to the ring. Justin Time is booed and Dan Hellman is given mixed reaction.
The match was a bit more competitive, but then again was nothing to write home about. It starred Dan Hellman, who is now crazy, and it premiered a young talented man named Justin Time. Even though this was a fair match up, Justin Time looked good and showed that Thy WWE continues to try and add new and exciting members to its rosters. Both guys seems like the type of guys who could put up a great battle with Sheamus or Undertaker in his prime.
Both men trying to prove something. Both Hellman and Time have a lot of raw talent. But Dan Hellman was the lucky one and took home the W! After hitting his finisher and pinning Justin for the
1...............2.................................................................3!
Winner: Dan Hellman in 4:30 via finishing maneuver
JR: RAW wins! Dan Hellman is such a talented superstar.
The King: When he tries but most of the time he half asses it!
JR: When he doesn't "half ass" it, he is very good!
The King: Justin Time looked good but next time he should give more effort!
JR: Welcome to Raw Justin Time!
The King: Let’s move on to the next match!
Match Five
Damian White vs. Raven (c)
As we return from the break we can already see the Thy WWE Tag Team champions Jonny Freeman and Raven in the ring awaiting the arrival of Damian White. We see White run out of the ring with a full head of steam and get down to the ring. He charges at the champions but he gets hit with a drop toe hold from Raven. The tag team champions then start to beat down Damian, the referee tries to interject—but Jonny clocks him with a right hand and then they continue to stomp White. Jonny drops down and locks a cross arm bar submission on White as Raven goes to the outside of the ring and gets a steel chair. Raven then brings a steel chair in the ring and starts to unload on White’s back and legs. Stopping for a moment to acknowledge the booing crowd, the champs simply grin and further their assault once more. White is now lifeless and still on the mat as the two men continue to beat on him.
JR: King, I think I know why the champions are targeting Damian White. Rumor has had it in the back that Austin Starr, who last Smackdown made his intentions clear to go after the tag team championships once he found a viable partner, rumor has it that Austin had his eye on Damian White. Perhaps the champions are using this opportunity to send a message to Austin.
King: Either way…I think it’s working Ross…look.
We can now see Raven putting a chair around the head of Damian as Jonny goes to the top rope. With the crowd booing more now, Jonny jumps off and connects with a Rockstar Splash onto the chair that was around Damian’s head. We see Jonny bounce up holding his chest in pain as Damian simply convulses in pain on the mat below. The champions then raise their belts in the air as trainers and doctors come down to the ring to check on Damian.
Winner: No contest
JR: It’s always a shame to see an assault taken this far King.
King: Consider the message sent Ross.
We can see the ringside medics take Damian White out of the ring and place him on a backboard. White is then placed on a stretcher and carted up the ramp as the champs stay in the ring for the next match.
Match Six
Austin Starr vs. Jonny Freeman (c)
“Superstar” by Lupe Fiasco plays on the PA. Austin Starr steps out onto the entrance ramp in his wrestling gear. He walks down to the ramp and gets in the ring. Raven gets out of the ring as Jonny stares Starr down. The referee who Jonny assaulted earlier gets back in the ring and just waves for the bell to be rung. Jonny charges Starr and throws him on the ground and starts punching him in the face. The ref pulls Freeman away from Starr and Starr pulls himself up using the ropes. Freeman and Starr both charge each other with their arm sticking out. They collide and both of them fall to the mat. The ref starts his count.
1.......2.......3.......4....
By this time Freeman has pulled himself to his feet. He starts stomping on Starr and then goes to the top rope. He jumps and does two front flips in a row but Starr sticks his knees up. Freeman falls over after landing on Starr's knees gasping for air. Austin stands up slowly and quickly gets on the ropes and jumps backwards landing on Freeman. Starr stands up after that moon salt and picks up Freeman who shocks him by kicking him in the midsection hard and spiking his head into the mat with a DDT. Freeman then looks to the outside of the ring with an angered look on his face. He motions for Raven to toss him the chair he used moments before on Damian, Raven heaves it in the ring and Jonny catches and begins to pander to the crowd, getting ready to tee off on Austin. However, what he doesn’t see is Austin spring up to his feet and as Jonny turns with the chair, Austin surprises him with a Rising Starr kick—sending the chair back into Jonny’s face. Jonny falls down knocked out on the mat and Austin hooks the leg. The referee slides in and makes the fast three count—1…2…3! It’s over.
Winner: Austin Starr in 10:05 via Rising Starr
Austin has gotten one over on the tag team champions, but however his celebration is short lived as Raven sneaks in the ring and low blows Austin. Following the low blow, Raven puts Austin’s head under and drills his head into the mat with an Evenflow DDT. By now Jonny is up and he stands over Starr, shoving the tag team title in his face screaming that they are the champions and Austin cannot stop them. Jonny then spits on Austin before striking one more pose with Raven before leaving the ring.
JR: I’m sure that Austin is going to be looking for revenge next week King.
King: He’s outnumbered though Ross, with Damian White hurt—what is he going to do now?
JR: I don’t know King, however now I’m getting word that we were supposed to be getting an announcement from the still unseen General Manager but he has decided to move it to next weeks’ Raw. Also, he has demanded the presence of Smackdown World Champion Maven, Raw World Champion CM Punk, and The Undertaker when he gives it. What could it be?
King: I’m excited now Ross, next week…can’t wait.
Raw goes off the air with Austin in the ring holding his head, vowing what looks like revenge against the champs.
